"We really liked the sites as it was convenient to get to La Rochelle and Rochefort. Fouras is a great town with lots going on; nice selection of restaurants. The pool was nice but people were not following the rules of no vaping aloud (maybe more/clearer signs or staff mentioning it to visitors would help). The bathroom was a bit smelly at the start but with ventilation that improved (there were no shelves in the shower area so that was not practical). We had plenty of towels and it was great...

"The hotel is lovely. It is right on the beach. It was very clean and the staff were charming. The rooms are quite small tho. Breakfast was delicious- croissant and bread, jams, cereals, yogurt, coffee, orange juice and tea. Just right. The town is very pretty we were lucky enough to be there during a festival so it was very busy on Saturday night.
