Dear Ben, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review following your stay with us. We are very pleased to read that you had a pleasant stay with us. Indeed, we are at the entrance to an industrial zone as the town centre (which is historic) cannot accommodate a hotel offering the same facilities as this one on the waterfront. However, we are sorry that the coffee machine did not work. Our reception team could have found a solution for you, they are on hand 24 hours a day to help our guests throughout their stay. For a 4 star hotel expected a bit more. Restaurant wasn’t Open on weekend and no minimart or little store area to get snacks/drinks. Apparently cleaning of the rooms are not done on weekends so we had to ask for clean towels

New Smart Hotel on the edge of Martigues
Posted 20 Feb 2023 on HotelsNewly built comfortable hotel so nice fresh and clean. Secure parking with numerous EV charging points. Quiet location at night in the more industrial zone of Martigues and not near any of the refineries so no residual smells. Roof top restaurant and bar looks promising but regretfully it is closed at the weekend. Pool table and table football in the lobby free of charge. Would definitely stay here again if one needed to be in the area.

note not all electric vehicle charging stations are the same in France, you may want to contact the hotel to see if you are able to be accommodated to their charging stations
