Excellent stay in Marrakesh. The property is very central located close to the Djemaa el Fna and the souks.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They greeted us on the first day with tea and they helped us with everything that we asked for. Each time we left the room, the staff came in and cleaned the room. For sure they pay a lot of attention on cleaning, which is excellent.
The breakfast was also amazing and they also have a nice roof top terrace where you can enjoy the sun.
We highly recommend this place for a stay in Marrakesh!:)

Check in and check out was super easy, and they were so helpful with everything we needed, booked us a place for dinner right away, walked us out to get a taxi on our last day at 7am with to go breakfast packages!
Breakfast was included and was awesome!
The room was a bit on a dark side, shower with hot and cold water can be tricky to handle.

The Best Riad
Posted 10 Apr 2024 on HotelsFrom the moment my friend and I were greeted by Noureddine and staff, we were welcomed and made to feel at home. I totally screwed up our booking and Noureddine adjusted to our needs, very kindly and made it stress free! The room was STUNNING and clean with fresh fruit and water everyday! Breakfast was amazing every morning and so fresh, as soon as we came out of our rooms we were met with our bread basket and asked if we wanted the fresh offerings of the day. I’ve never been waited on so greatly as I have in this Riad and in Marrakech!! Any time we wanted tea they were so kind to indulge us. The excursions were all handled by Noureddine who was so gracious and patient with my friend and I. He made it very simple for us to do all the activities we wanted to in Marrakech and we did many! One note, do have cash for your excursions and tipping, next visit I will have more cash rather than relying on cards (although you can use your cards in many places). This was the best trip I’ve ever been on with everything working so seamlessly and most definitely the best place I’ve ever stayed! Super close to the square, Jemaa El-Fnaa also!!!

The property has very few of any amenities besides wifi (which was unstable) - no tvs or speakers, no pool, no gym, no room service - very minimal so two stars were given for property facilities and for $250/night I have higher expectations. Most conversations can be heard in the room from other guests since the rooms face inward to the courtyard.
The riad is a 10 min walk from the closest street where a taxi can drop off. The service is very nice and the hotel can help with luggage. However at night it doesn't feel safe, there's no security presence in the dark alleys and boys are zipping through the alleys on scooters at 30 km/h which are quite dangerous.
On a positive note, the service provided was very warm and hospitable and the breakfast was wonderful.

Thank you so much Noureddine and staff for the most pleasurable stay at Riad Joya. Noureddine was quick to reply to my emails and arrange airport transfers before I arrived.
On arrival, you are dropped off by the medina gates and warmly greeted by Noureddine. He takes you to the riad via it’s small alleyways. Seems a bit weird as you walk through a dark alleyway but as you enter the riad, you walk into your own little haven! It is a stunning Riad with all rooms overlooking a beautiful courtyard. Room was beautiful and spacious. The standout of the stay was the kind and friendly service by all the staff at Riad Joya. They helped booked excursions and spa treatments at the riad. The hammam treatment was definitely a must if staying in Marrakech. The food was absolutely delicious. The pastilla and chicken tagine was sublime. They even whipped us up a lunch when the weather was too hot to venture out during the day. There is a roof terrace where you can sunbathe in one of the sun loungers. I found the experience of staying in a Riad better than staying in a hotel. It just felt more intimate and felt we were immersed in the life of Marrakech by staying within the medina area. Our flight wasn’t departing until the evening and Noureddine was kind enough to let us have the room to until we left. It’s these little touches that made us feel so welcome there!
Don’t hesitate and please stay at Riad Joya!

All arrangements were perfect. Transportation too and from the airport with someone to carry your luggage was standard. They meet you upon arrival and hold your hand through everything. Service was above all expectations. Your room is refreshed every time you leave. Highly recommend.

We loved Riad Joya. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We were trying to find a room at a different Riad to be with our friends but luckily we ended up here. It is conveniently located in the center of the madina yet tucked away from the noise. Great dining spots around the block. Room is clean, spacious and bed is very comfortable. The breakfast area is shabby chic, simple and lovely. Staff are friendly and helpful. We got lost at night and Noureldin quickly came to our rescue. Marrakech is such a magical place with lots going on. Riad Joya was the perfect resting place after an exhausting day. I recommend reserving the entire Riad with a big group of friends, I wish we had done that :)
