A little spot of tranquility

A great little Riad - only 4 bedrooms, in the oldest part of the Medina - be prepared for narrow streets. The Riad was super quiet, yet really convenient for all the sites. The staff were super helpful - especially Hassan and Adil. They really made our stay a success

Been coming back to this small family-style Riad a few times now, and can´t imagine staying anyplace else. A super short walk to the Medina and the best place to come home and rest up after an exhausting day of walking and shopping.

Hassan our host was extremely helpful and so nice. Breakfast was amazing! But our room was way too small and air conditioning wasn’t working well and it was hot!!!

The air conditioner motor needs to cycle off - ideally about three times per hour - to avoid the evaporator coil from freezing up. If the thermostat is set on the lowest temperature (an understandable reaction to intense heat) it does not allow the unit to shut off, and the result is the evaporator coil will freeze up and it can actually blow out warm air, giving the impression the machine is not working well.

This was a delightful little riad! It was quiet and peaceful. They were able to accommodate our vegan diet at breakfast and it's within walking distance to one of the only vegan/vegetarian restaurants in Marrakech.

The Riad is in a quiet area, off the busy streets. The staff are wonderful and care about your stay there. Breakfast is charming and if you have your evening meal there, the food is great!

Great stay at the Riad Dar Zaman

We had a lovely experience at the Riad Dar Zaman. We felt very welcomed by the super trio: Peter, Hassan and Adeen. They would go far and beyond to accommodate and make our stay was stress free. The breakfast was delicious with a lovely selection of fresh produce. It has been an absolute pleasure to stay in this petit paradise in the heart of Marrakesh. We highly recommend this jewel! LGBT friendly.
