The managers aren’t truthful they say go back and we will sort your issue. The laundry team spoilt one of my matching garments by washing not dry cleaning as stipulated.
The WiFi doesn’t work consistently.
The room allocated was all in the shade and dark to go to
The staff however are amazing. The food and atmosphere is good.
The gardens and pool area immaculate
Had stomach issues along with another man I got talking to the whole time of being there but don’t know why.
Other than that the Spa amazing and to be honest if the manager on charge hadn’t lied to me I would have graded it more

This was a lovely hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. The only drawback was the pool temperature- we went at the end of October and despite it being 25 - 30 degrees outside, the pool was ice cold at all times of day and never warmed up, to the extent that small children found it way too cold to swim. Perhaps because it was such a big pool it just couldn’t heat up naturally, but if you’re going to be open during cooler months, it really needs to be heated. The indoor pool also wasn’t heated at all and very cold to use.
Otherwise a lovely place to go.

I stayed here for 3 nights. First impressions were good, there was a man with a buggie who took us to our room with the luggage. Once we got into the room that’s when things started going downhill. There were ants crawling all over the bathroom door frame and floor. We reported it to reception and they did sort it out, but left all the dead ants on the floor!! The food was terrible, stale and cold. Breakfast isn’t served fresh, they cook it and leave it under the light. The cups were constantly dirty and I had been given filthy cutlery which I could see someone else eggs still on them! I felt the staff were not friendly there at all apart from the chef at breakfast time who made me and my husband tea. I’ve stayed in Iberostar 3 times and would recommend it over Riu Tikida any day! For the price we paid for 3 nights it was a complete waste of money!

Good:
Staff - all really nice and engaging
Moroccan food - great tagines
Breakfast - great selection of food
Grounds and shared areas - clean and well gardened
Shuttle bus into the city - free and frequent enough
To improve:
Room condition - some peeling plaster, shower cubical leaked, just a bit tired
Shower gel/shampoo - just a single dispenser for poor quality stuff.
Pools - both really cold!
Non-Moroccan food - lots of the same food each meal and not amazing
Coffee - espresso wasn't great, the breakfast coffee machines made a version of a coffee flavoured drink I wouldn't classify as coffee
Overall - a decent hotel that needs a bit of TLC

Just back from a great week here - food was amazing and lots of choice. Nice cocktails served by friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Handy shuttle bus into the medina (needed prior booking but we were able to get on when we wanted). Overall would definitely recommend!

Room was good, staff were friendly, good facilities at hotel, landscaping was beautiful, food options were average, cocktails drinks at all bars were very poor, even the simplest of cocktails were done poorly
