Kruger Park acess
Posted 22 Dec 2019 on HotelsBig room and daily view of monkeys. Good dinners and good location to Kruger and a local small town. The pool is smaller than pictures show but still nice to lounge in the shade near the pool.

Not so great
Posted 5 Jul 2018 on HotelsI found that many of the amenities listed as onsite were not present, they we're actually part of other lodges in the area, but not onsite where we were staying. There also seemed to be some sort of sewerage problem while we were there as our rooms and outside of our house smelled quite foul. The beds were spacious, but extremely uncomfortable.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to review us. This negative review is very surprising as you did not mention any of this to us while you were here, should this have been the case we would have tried to rectify everything for you.
With regards to the amenities, Marloth Park is not a massive place and nothing is more than a 10min drive away. The only activity that is a bit of a drive is the full day game drive, but with this the guide comes to pick guests up from the lodge.
With regards to the sewerage, in all rooms and chalets we do have notices up stipulating that we make use of a septic tank and that guests should not put foreign objects in there. Unfortunately people tend to still just do as they please, when we are made aware of a problem we sort it out immediately as we know that this can get very unpleasant. Again, if you had mentioned this to us we would have done our part in making it better.
Beds, this is a very personal preference. It is impossible to satisfy everyone's needs. We do ensure that our beds are in good quality and replace them as soon as we see that they are getting tired.

nice place. very good restaurant - long open hours
Posted 9 Feb 2017 on Hotelsfriendly check in. nice room with plenty of space and efficient AC. bit difficult to walk back from the excellent restaurant in the dark though. food very good with full a la carte menu with good choice of wine and beer - thoroughly recommended. only drawback was having to leave a 500 rand key deposit (although I understand the reasoning)

Great Location

Posted 8 Aug 2014Don t expect anything but a pratical 3 bedrooms accomodation, bring groceries to complement missing ones, escape from the house to admire the beauty of marloth and kruger...

Posted 25 Feb 2011The location of the lodge was wonderful. It is in Marloth Park - right next to Kruger and wild animals walked around the property. There were zebras, wharthogs, monkeys just to name a few. The Chalet we stayed it had three bedrooms and a kitchen and living room space. Very nice people on property and would totally recommend.
Go into Kruger through the Crocodile Bridge gate - we say so many animals and even three cheetahs! Excellent all the way around!!!!

Lodge immerso nel bush africano in un paesino dove non c'è nulla. Camera spaziosa. Le cose comprese inesistenti: set di cortesia mancante, non è stato messo neanche il secondo giorno, la pulizia della camera non è stata fatta (solo il letto) , non hanno sostituito gli asciugamani sporchi, la cosa assurda è che avevo mnesso un asciugamano per terra perchè sporco, mi è stato rimesso steso in doccia.

Prima, zeer leuk restaurant
Posted 4 Jul 2017Prima accomodatie voor 1 nacht, redelijk dicht bij ingang Kruger. Kamer was niet groot en erg basic, maar meer heb je ook niet nodig. Restaurant was op een wat hoger gedeelte met een zeer groot en sfeervol terras. Erg goed gegeten.
