"I was extremely pleased with this hotel. Each room has a kitchenette in it. The rooms are extremely quiet and come with blackout shades. It's located on the Royal Mile so you are surrounded by all sorts of shops, restaurants, etc. I felt very safe in this area. So many things to see -- very historic. "

"I never want to stay anywhere else while in the city. Eden Locke provided the best stay possible. Rooms are spacious, clean, and stunning. The property itself is adorable with the cafe downstairs serving great coffee. It’s close to major sites and many good restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend for your stay in Edinburgh. "

"Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Both restaurants were very good, we ate at them all three nights. Plenty of restaurants near by but we were tired and kept forgetting to make reservations outside. Super close to the train station, airport and old town. "

"Very conveniently located near the rail station and allowed walking to everywhere we wanted to visit. Bit of a challenge for people our age getting luggage up, as the lift started at the first floor and had to take bags up a long staircase from the street entrance (thankfully, the staircase was wide). "Great location, easy to get there from the airport, lovely restaurants nearby and close to all the tourist stuff. Great apartment, really well equipped and nicely presented. Couple of relatively minor points- the apartment is quite big, the bed is too small and not that comfy. Also in the small dressing room there’s a full length mirror & storage but no place to plug anything in. Other than that a really good and easy would have happily stayed longer."

"Great cost benefit in a modern hotel. Pros: It is a 15-minute walk from the city center. The rooms are modern and new. There is a very good ceiling showerhead. The place is very clean. Self-check-in and check-out. Cons: The bathroom has no door - the toilet and shower are separated, but there is a curtain to separate from the room. The room and the beds are small. Breakfast was the most disappointing part: very basic with stale bread and no juice."

"This was a well located hotel in the centre of Edinburgh and I have to say I couldn't fault anything with the hotel. Great parking, staff, room and food and I would definitely recommend this one as a base to use if you are visiting the city. The station is a very short walk also so great transport access."
