We booked a room at Markham, Toronto, Ontario. After driving for approximately five hours, we arrived at the specified address and contacted the landlord. To our dismay, he informed us that they were fully booked and only had one room left in the basement. Despite my request to inspect and stay in the basement room, he denied us and forced us to relocate to another address.
The alternative property was located at Scarborough, which is known to be a dangerous area in Toronto. With no other available accommodations, we reluctantly accepted the change.
The room and the bed sheets were dirty, the driveway was blocked, the front door left open which was not secured, the noise levels were unbearable with fighting, running, and screaming occurring throughout the night.
So, my wife was terrified, crying the entire night, and neither of us were able to sleep.
I will write an official complaint letter to the Expedia CA’s customer service to address this issue and follow up with them to pay more attention to these kinds of landlords.

Because there’s only basement room available that’s why I asked you to go to a different location Just nearby three minutes away The room is on the second floor and you agree. Location cameras is on the common area and I have a professional cleaning lady do her job every day cleaning the house

The property owner is purposely deceitful. He advertises the the Markham address but he has no rooms available. The actual address is 1 Purcell is Scarborough. Those in Toronto know how unsafe Scarborough could be. I will be writing an official complaint letter to Expedia.

Because I only have a basement available that’s why I asked you to a different location which is nearby three minutes away over there Do you good and you are agree. I have a second floor available for you and there is a cleaning lady. She cleaned the house every day surrounding area is a 2 million house area is a good area.
