We had a comfortable nights stay, an amazing evening meal & a fantastic breakfast! We would love to return.
Great room facilities including a fan which was much appreciated!
Popular with the locals which is always a good sign. Recommended!

Incredible Hidden Gem
Posted 27 Jul 2022 on HotelsWe stayed at the Bear because we booked a hotel nearby to Tern Hill Hall to attend a wedding. We were blown away by the hotel, it is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, everything is catered to down to fans in the rooms and very fancy toiletries, and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast that I have ever eaten! An incredible experience from beginning to end.

Posted 20 Feb 2022 on HotelsAn absolute pleasure staying at The Bear Inn. We stayed 5 nights as we explored the area. Everything about the hotel from the moment we arrived to when we left was fantastic. The staff were outstanding and made us feel welcome and very well looked after. The room was extremely well appointed, very comfortable and the perfect place to rest after busy days out and about. The food was good, and the Kitchen looked after our requirements without any fuss. We had some of the nicest vegan dishes in a long time. Overall an excellent stay and will definitely be making our way back soon.

Posted 9 Nov 2021 on HotelsWe arrived late and missed service in the restaurant but the staff made up plate of cheese and biscuits for us. Very much appreciated, after a long drive. The staff are great and the accommodation is superb it felt like we were the first people ever to stay in the room it was so clean and up together. The quality of everything was top notch it is obvious a lot of care has been taken over the Bear, it is a gem.

Amazing hotel. Cleanliness of room was excellent. Tastefully refurbed. All staff pleasant and friendly. Excellent breakfast only downside was we booked for one night - rooky mistake needed longer to enjoy
