"Nice lodging units. We got upgraded to a 2 bedroom unit. The exteriors looks amazing. The interiors are awesome. The kitchen had everything you need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. The pool looked amazing. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Many people were in resort for long stay and repeated customers. They had their own restaurant but were not far away from downtown full of restaurants and shopping. "

"Before we even got through the front gate the bell was out of order and you had to phone to gain access. It took 3 calls before we got through The room was very noisy in the evening and the balcony chairs plastic When we had tea on the main bars patio/balcony the receptionist closed the door and we were left locked out There wasn’t even an egg cup in our superior room Enough said "

"This was our first trip to Portugal. I would definitely recommend Vila Petra for adults and families. Immaculately clean, well maintained, quiet (expecially in the annex buildings) with excellent staff everywhere. It has gained it's star rating honestly and would not disappoint anyone."

"The hotel was in a perfect spot for us, two middle age gents over for the weekend playing some golf. Close enough to the old town craziness for a drink and some food but not on your doorstep. It is also in the perfect spot to pick up the main road and get to the courses. We never waited more than 2min for an Uber. The hotel itself was clean and the breakfast buffet served its purpose. We had the suite room, and for two, it was ridiculously spacious. Only slight gripe with the room was the...

"Family of 3 had an amazing time at the property. Really well impressed with the kitchen gadgets provided. Some board games available too which were a plus. Property had dishwasher, washing machine and heating. Will certainly book my next year’s annual visit to the Algarve at the Balaia Golf Village Resort."

Awesome hotel with the best breakfast ever!

"We really loved our stay here. It is centrally located yet quiet, and the rooftop terrace was fabulous, offering great views of the sunset, and the spa was a welcome benefit. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The best thing was the breakfast where you could get everything and anything including all the classics, but also chia seed pudding, freshly made eggs royale, eggs florentine, crepes, and of course, warm pastéis de nata. We would definitely return."
