I love what the owners are doing with this place. A grand old building, I found it to be comfortable, quiet, and charming.
That said, I was disappointed that the hotel has neither restaurant nor bar as listed on Expedia (or, if they exist, they weren't open the night I was there). And this is a small thing but, in a classy joint like this, it would have been nice to see the desk staff dressed in something more upscale than a sweatshirt. If you're trying to recreate a classic vibe, little things like that matter.

Absolutely fantastic service Brandon that worked behind the counter was fantastic. A great help. We really appreciate everything and everyone we will definitely be visiting again.

Marion is a town with several stores and restaurants within walkable distance of the hotel. The Lincoln Theatre is close by.

It was a picturesque hotel just off 81. Very convenient to get to and plenty of parking for being on downtown main street. Lovely government buildings and lots of history next door. They allow service dogs which is great.
