The pool was closed down there was a bag wrapped around the smoke detector in the room the jetted tub did not work properly and the faucet to it was leaking the walls were scraped up need painted over and the furniture in the room the one chair had all kinds stains on the furniture the pillows that they give you was just tiny and thin we had asked for more pills to even make it work and I give one towel per person

Staff was friendly. Didn't stay though, there were cockroaches in the room on the 3rd floor. the curtain rod was broken and the curtains wouldn't close all the way. This is not acceptable to me, we had not unpacked anything so we put our shoes back on picked up our things and left 2 hours after checking into the room. Turned the key in at the front desk on the way out and told the man we could not stay due to there being cockroaches in the room. We will never stay or attempt to stay at that hotel ever again. We drove to Indianapolis and got a much better room there!

We stayed here 20 years ago and the place was very nice - clean; good breakfast. Everything just seemed worn down - tears in furniture, sparse foods available for breakfast, room had stains in tub, couch, etc., floor not swept.

This property should have posted on their website that their pool was closed, per the board of health for over 3 months. The worst part was waking up to cockroaches crawling up the wall in the middle of the night.. This didn’t just happen to me, but several others checking out early for the same reason. Sadly, when this concern was brought to the attention of staff, I was met with nothing more than a blank stare. Not even an apology. The outdoor gazebo space was nothing more than a graveyard of broken down hotel furniture. I’ll never stay there again.

I would like to start by saying that the staff was very friendly and they seem to be trying to do their best but this hotel was a huge disappointment. There is a beautiful photo of a pool, on their website, but there is a notice from the health dept. for immediate closure dated 6/25/2024 and today is 09/29/2024. The smoke detector in our room is fully covered in masking tape, the tv screen has big bright blotches within the screen. There are derelict vehicles in the parking lot with flat tires, broken windows, etc. The breakfast isn't great but they at least offered yogurt and mandarin oranges so that was okay. I will say that the bed was very comfortable and the shower had nice pressure and ample hot water. Unfortunately, the towels were quite damp so I guess they hadn't been dried properly, hopefully they were fresh and hadn't just been used previously and refolded. It needs updating, the whole property is getting worn out.

Our toilet was clogged upon arrival - the front desk associate handed us a used plunger to fix the problem. It didn’t work and they did not service the restroom while we were there so we were unable to use the restroom in our room. Very unprofessional. Lack of supplies in room
