"We had an amazing stay for my birthday weekend with my wife and newborn. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. "Based off of the pictures in the listing for the hotel I wasn't expecting it to be at a gas station but I actually didn't mind it! The beds were comfy and clean, room and bathroom were also clean, hot water was instant and the to-go breakfast bags had a good variety. If I'm ever in town, I'll definitely be staying again! "

"Our stay at Comfort Inn Monterey was great! We arrived around 2:30 PM just to check on our reservation since I knew check-in time was at 3 PM. To my surprise, the receptionist told us our room was already ready, so we were able to check in early! The room was spacious, and everything was working well: the bathroom, fridge, microwave, AC, etc. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, and the hotel has a sauna, which was a nice bonus. "Pretty nice stay overall. Front desk staff are efficient and friendly. There are a few cosmetic things that could be fixed but the overall room is nice. Comfortable bed and a good size to the room (booked oversized room). Breakfast was good but gets very busy so arrive early. Walking distance to the beach was nice. "
