Exactly what we needed
This hotel is ideal if your are on a road trip, driving from place to place. .It is about 800 meters from the center of town and next to a nature preserve with trails in the woods. It is located in a large lot with a park, mini-golf, tennis courts, among other things. It has plenty of parking space and don't need to drive through medieval alleyways to get there. The rooms are simple but spotless and the staff is friendly and helpful. Some of them speak enough English that there are virtually no communication problems. The spa is fantastic and the indoor pool a wonderful place to relax after driving for a few hours. All at a very reasonable price. It was exactly what we were looking for.

It appears that the hotel was build during the cold war days, but it is very good value. The grounds behind the hotel are 5 star with a beautiful tennis court and lounges and a large chess board. It has a very nice indoor pool and spa facilities. No AC, except for the "wintergarden" on the second floor. No English channels on TV (have complained about that) and no English papers. Have not explored the great forest next to the hotel, but it looks great for those like to hike. Overall... a great place to relax for a week and breath some great air and try some of the springs. The staff was is very helpful and friendly. Limited service after 10 pm.

Das Zimmer (Appartement) war gut bis sehr gut ausgestattet. Handtücher wurden zu oft gewechselt, auch wenn nicht benutzt. Die Klausulierung zu einem Wechsel "nur wenn auf dem Boden liegend" war wohl nicht bekannt. Das Hallenschwimmbad war von ordentlicher Größe und bot hervorragende 29 Grad C., sehr angenehm bei draußen herrschenden Wintertemperaturen. Auch die Sauna mit einer Temperatur von ca. 90 Grad C. war aus- gezeichnet. Frühstück war ausreichend und von guter Qualität. Das Nachlegen wurde nicht immer beachtet, so- wohl beim Aufschnitt als auch bei den Getränken, obwohl bis 9.15 h vorgesehen. Das Personal im Frühstückssaal entspricht leider nicht den uns sonst bekannten Standards, manchmal wurden wir an Zeiten wie vor 30 Jahren erinnert. Meist nur traurige Gesichter, kein Morgengruß und beson- ders ständiges Entfernen von Essgeschirr u. Besteckteilen während der Mahlzeit. Man fühlt sich ständig beobachtet und gestört. An der Rezeption wird deutsch gesprochen, Zimmer- u. Kurpersonal sind meist nur mit Gesten unvollkommen zu verstehen. Deutsch wollen wir nicht verlangen, aber ein wenig Schulenglisch wäre doch in einem sonst ordentli- chen Hotel angebracht. Im Großen und Ganzen sind wir jedoch zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder, denn Parken, großer Safe und Wellness überwiegen die Nachteile.

Wir waren mit Familie dort 3 Tagen:2 Erwachsene und 2 Kindern (2,4 Jahre alt),Personal und Service sehr gut und freundlich, Frühstück ist reichhaltig,Wellnessbereich ist sauber ,Anwendungen sind gut,man muss aber schnell möglichst buchen wegen Nachfrage.Innen Pool ist warm,die Kinder wollten gar nicht raus aus dem Wasser. Einziges Manko:sie haben ein Aufzug im Haus und manchmal müssten wir länger warten auf ihn wegen Putzfrauen, die auch den Aufzug Vormittag öfter benutzt haben,wir haben im 6 ten Stock gewohnt.

Der Check-In war freundlich. Das Frühstückbuffet gut.Die Kellner schienen manchmal etwas überlastet. Es wäre vielleicht sinnvoll den Gästen bei der Tischauswahl behilflich zu sein. Auch für spontane Teilnahme am Abendessen sollte es eine klarere Abmachung von seiten der Hotelverwaltung mit dem Service geben und eine freundlichere Begrüßung und auch die Tischwahl mit den Kellnern besser. Die Waldspazierwege sind gut markiert und runden eine gute Erholung ab. Vom Hotel aus gibt es kurze Wege ins Zentrum. Leider ist der Hauptzugangsweg bei Dunkelheit zu Fuß schlecht bis gar nicht beleuchtet und der Anfahrtsweg sollte besser bezeichnet werden. Wenn man die Adresse mit Straße eingibt, gelangt man an den Hintereingang, der netterweise von einem Hotelarbeiter geöffnet wurde, jedoch normal nicht von außen nicht zu befahren. Alles in allem hat uns der Aufenthalt doch sehr gefallen.

Altes Hotel schätze noch in 50ger jahren gebaut, Welness Bereich besteht aus kleines Becken eine Sauna (Sanarium) mit 60 Grad also keine Finische oder Dampfsauna. Ruheliegen aus plastik und ohne Decken. Frühstüch war gut und große Auswahl. Was ich als großes Mangel empfunden habe waren die Fließen in Sauna! Das habe ich noch nirgendwo gesehen und es war ohne Schuhe echt unangenehm.

Рядом лес, тренажерный зал, бассейн, теннисный корт, чистый воздух - все условия для занятия спортом. Очень большой выбор медицинских процедур, СПА (за дополнительную плату). Хороший завтрак. В отеле есть ресторан, который работает до позднего вечера. Рядом с отелем находится комплекс различных магазинов. В шаговой доступности пивные бары, например "Козловна" с вкусной кухней и нормальными ценами. От центра города "Колоннада" 20 минут пешком. Из недостатков: не приветливый персонал, оглушительно - шумные туристы китайской национальности, которых привозят почти каждый вечер на больших автобусах (до 5 автобусов) для ночлега и рано утром увозят (перевалочный пункт). В двух номерах, в которых мы проживали, не было холодильника, кондиционера, утюга (телевизор, фен были). Постельное бельё, за неделю проживания, не меняли ни разу, полотенца по запросу.

Waren dort zum Zweiten Mal, erstes mal im Appartement war schön , jetzt normales Doppelzimmer: etwas enttäuscht, kein Kühlschrank, keine Klima, kein Bidet, nicht mal Schuhlöffel vorhanden, für 4 Sterne hatten wir das eigentlich nicht nur beim Zimmer hohe Preisklasse erwartet.
