Good stay and comfortable hotel. Only issue was waiting for skmeone to appear at reception. They need a bell or something to let them know people are waiting

Nice location on river
Posted 14 Jul 2023 on HotelsThe hotel is across the river from the city centre but in a nice location and easy to access by foot or bus. It has a very nice lobby and restaurant, and the indoor pool is a plus. Wifi worked well. The only difficulty we had is that the air conditioning did not work the first two nights of our four-night stay. When we brought the problem to the attention of the staff, they were not helpful - they simply came to our room and adjusted the thermostat in the same way that we had tried. When we complained after a second hot night, they admitted the whole system was down and that someone would come to fiix it. It was fixed for the second two nights, but we felt that the staff should have been more attentive to the situation and made recompense.
