A good property but questionable management.
Posted 6 Jan 2022 on HotelsA clean and comfortable property in a good location. I would return here but there are other good options in the area which I prefer.
My wife and I did not like a text I received from the property manager - it was regarding the flushing of sanitary products, which was both unnecessary (since my wife was not using them at the time) and a little offensive.
I was also surprised to be visited in person by the property manager with no notice given. They asked questions that could clearly have been asked remotely so I assume their primary reason for the visit was to check up on me / assess any property condition risks. If you cant trust your cutomers then property rental is not the right line of work for you.

My representative, in visiting, would only have been interested in your comfort...nothing more.
As to my message regarding not flushing wet ones, wipes or sanitary pads down the toilet, I do so because female guests have flushed those items and caused our pumping station to fail - despite my requests that they do not do so. Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing who will (or won't) behave responsibly, so I have no option but to send it to everyone.
Question: How can we trust when guests continue to flout our rules and cause damage?

The cottage was designed to meet the requirement that we build a single bedroom residence of no more than 70sqm - in order to sub-divide the original land holding.

This cottage has absolutely everything you need for a more than comfortable getaway. Very clean and fresh. The garden is so lovely with beautiful fruit-bearing fruit trees. Well thought out driveway for parking. We enjoyed the Old Dairy Cottage and will definitely re-book another time.

Surrounding gardens, great location. Relaxing and contemporary. Recomended for any couple that wants to get away and unwind.
