Cheap but Off-Graded

Posted 9 Apr 2019 on Hotels
Hotel staff was really friendly and helped a lot. However keep in mind that this is a cheap hotel to stay overnight.Just acceptable for the price. If you’re looking for comfort you may look for somewhere else. Also wifi should have been free of charge. By the way there is no sign of hotel outside of the building.

Avoid even if you are tightest budget! Dump!

Posted 23 Dec 2018 on Hotels
This place is a dump!!! Its even worth than on the pictures. First I spent a lot on telephone and taxi, because the address on hotels.com is a bit further and they have no signs on the building. Secondly, the room with without windows, which should be mentioned in description. Its about 80 years old building without ventilation - go figure how bad it smells. No free wifi, you can buy credit, they charge you per Mb! I havent seen this even in Africa. They dont use blankets, but some kind of light rugs - they dont wash the rugs, so you pretty much smell all the 100 people that slept in it before you. I am not even going to continue about the showers and toilet.

Great value for the amount you pay. Central location and there's a bus station for the northern region nearby. The host is very welcoming and helped me a lot during my stay.

Budget Hotel in Great Location

Posted 20 Jul 2017
I enjoyed my stay at Talal hotel for 4 nights. It is the cheapest hotel to be found in Beirut in a central, safe, convenient location at the port. Single room with a queen bed is $40, or $17 for a bed in a shared room of 3 twin beds. Most rooms come with shared bathrooms (always had hot water for bath). The room included TV, bath towel & closet. Keep in mind you get what you pay for, this is not a luxury hotel or bed but its good enough for basic amenities. The owner is incredibly helpful in anything you need, he's friendly and personable. There is access to the kitchen if you need to cook. 10 minute walking distance to Downtown Beirut. Close distance to bus stop. I would highly recommend staying here if you are on a budget!

Horrible Experience - Please Avoid

Posted 10 May 2017 on Hotels
Very poor quality. Hotel was difficult to find (no signs marked the entrance). Rooms and bathroom were dirty, no internet, and the stairwell leading up to the hotel was run down. Service was also very poor. Hotel forgot to send an airport shuttle to pick up and owner never took responsibility. He even blamed and yelled at the customer for the situation (even though the hotel forgot to send the shuttle). Overall a very poor experience. Despite lack of options in Beirut, please avoid this hostel at all costs.

老闆、員工和其他住客態度極好 既可以跟老闆換錢(而且匯率比外面換好得多),亦可以教導行程,也會滿足你所有合理的要求 感覺就像一家人
