I’ve been going to banana bay for 20 yrs and this will be the last trip there. We weren’t able to fry our fish. Normally we could use the common area shared by marathon beach club but that changed. We rented 6 rooms and the place was empty don’t understand.

This has been one of my favorite hotel in marathon all time,but this trip was another level of disappointment room was not so clean ,the staff at the bar were rude she is an ass*** we couldn’t be drinking our own alcohol we were not even in the bar we were cleaning the fishes and just finalized my day after doing the check-in after paying everything,the next morning I get charged the credit card an extra $100 .why ?don’t ask me .HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE 😡😡😡

The bar was not open for most of our stay so we were disappointed because we chose this property so we could enjoy drinks in the evening without driving. The room was clean for the most part. However, when we went to open a new roll of toilet paper there were 2 dead cockroaches inside the packaging. We didn’t see any bugs in the room otherwise but we took precautions when returning home.
