"We had a wonderful villa with an amazing pool, overlooking the sea. The villa was spacious and, even though the private pool was quite large, they had left enough room for a proper garden (with tables and chairs, hammock, etc). The amenities are a little far away but the beach is only 40 yards. We had a delightful walk along the beach to the restaurants further along Plaka and a shorter walk along the sea road for dinner in the local village. "Although the pool area and villa itself were lovely, the location was very average and we had difficulties with the owner. He was intrusive and rude, to the point where we were made to feel very uncomfortable. Such a shame as our experience could have been very different otherwise. I would suggest he give guests more space and not be so overbearing in terms of how they use the property and their expectation's on the guests. Questions over the use of the pool and air-conditioning felt abrasive...
