Hola, vivo viajando , un desastre. No teníamos aire Acondicionado, tienen uno central que lo único que hace es ruido. Cuando quise llamar a conserjería... se habían olvidado de colocar el teléfono en la habitación. Reclamamos ( obvio siempre había que bajar desde el piso 5) y dijeron ahí van, tardaron 2 hs por lo que nosotros ya nos íbamos . El desayuno escueto. No vuelvo y recomiendo no ir. Gracias por preguntarnos. 🌹

Hice una reserva y me cambiaron de hotel porque estaba en reparacion (hotel astor) si esta en reparacion no lo pongan como opcion oara reservar. Me pasaron a otro hotel donde las intalaciones no eran NADA parecidas al que yo queria reservar a la que ustedes me dijeron que era lo mismo. Mi mama tiene problemas para caminar y tanto el estacionamiento como el desayunador tenian escaleras. Si va gente discapacitada? Eso no lo avisan? Un desastre la verdad, eso si para cobrar no tienen ningun problema. El frigobar no tenia NADA y el comedor NO FUNCIONABA. El "valet parking" no sabia MANEJAR, como tienen un valet patking que no maneja ( teniendo que bajar el.auto vos mismo teniendo dificiltades para caminar y teniendo que subir dos pisos por escalera) La habitacion no era NADA parecida a la que yo habia reservado, y ustedds me dijero que no tenia sauna cuando si, por lo que no fueron equipados para poder usar esas instalaciones. una vergüenza la verdad. Que se puede hacer al respecto?

We reserved Hotel Astor on Hotels.com but the day after, we received an email saying the hotel was closed during our stay and that we were sent to Gran Hotel Dora that had the same standards. As a result, my comments stand for Gran Hotel Dora (and NOT for Hotel Astor). Our staying was extremely disappointing. First of all, in August (which is very low season), we were few people in the hotel and the room we were given had an horrible view (see pictures). I could have understood if it had been full but as we were so little, why giving that kind of room? The worst was the bathroom window that was in wood but rotten. It was impossible to close it fully and as a result, some cold air (it is winter in August overthere) entered and entering the bathroom was like opening a fridge (see pictures). The room was a bit cold by night and the air conditioning/heater was making too much noise and had to be put at 30 Celsius to get a decent temperature. The room only had plugs for the TV and two night tables (making it difficult if you have phones, computers or iPads to plug). We also took Astor because of the swimming pool (as we had a child and we knew it might rain, swimming-pools are a plus) and we were happy to see Gran Hotel Dora also had one. However, we were told that it was open only on the day we arrived (Sunday) and that it would be closed for the rest of our stay (Monday and Tuesday). Last but not least, the four stars may work for Argentina but not for North American standarts.

No lo elegiría nuevamente

Nosotros habíamos seleccionado el Hotel Astor, pero como se encontraba en refacción nos derivaron al Gran Dora. El hotel nos pareció muy dejado en el cuidado de las instalaciones de la habitación. La pileta, dejo mucho q desear, mas q 6 personas cómodas no caben.
