Okay hotel for short stay
Posted 29 Apr 2022 on HotelsThe check in staff was nice and friendly. The antico residence hotel is under ABC hotel so go to ABC hotel instead. The location is good near train station and city center but if your room window is facing the station then you have to close the window all the time to avoid noise. The room is basic, okay clean and okay comfortable but the dark red bed cover don’t look appealing. The shower drain is not just slow running, it’s totally clogged. I only need to count one to five seconds the water filled up the shower base. I opened the drain cap and was hoping the house keeper do something about it. But they didn’t. The shower drain was the same and still was clogged. It kept me from taking a shower for two days. I usually don’t want my room to be cleaned between days because I like to sanitize the room myself. This time I let the house keeper in the room because I want the drain get fixed and some supplies. but I didn’t get any thing. The tissue box didn’t get filled (it’s almost empty to begin with). The breakfast was good but costly.

Hotel Antica and Hotel ABC are a couple of doors from each other, across the street from the Mantova railway station, but run by the same people. Officially we were booked at Antica, but ended up at ABC. Our room was on the busy street outside, but the a/c meant the noise was minimal. Exceptionally good breakfast, a pleasant courtyard to sit in the evenings which is connected to a traditional Italian bar, which means coffee, wine, or beer can be had at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Struttura , adiacente al centro, possibilità di parcheggio sia in loco che a 5 minuti a piedi, ottime le ragazze della reception, e simpaticissimi i camerieri della colazione
