Room was very clean and area was pet friendly. I like to take my dogs on trips and I had plenty of dog walking space. Close to grocery as well. If you are going to Mansfield this is a great stop!

Quiet and exclusive. The owners made sure each guest was well taken care of and welcome. We had a few issues with lighting in our cottage, but otherwise everything was working & comfortable. The jetted tub was very refreshing after a day kayaking & sight seeing. Really enjoyed our stay!

There was a huge foam topper on super old mattress that was horribly uncomfortable and I felt unsanitary and the water would only turn to hot in bathroom sink and kitchen. Shower head needs replacing. We left early so we could go home to sleep in our own bed.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The room smelled musty and there was no WiFi. There was no way to reach staff . Had a very Bates motel vibe). Poor management of the property.

First it is so hard to check in but what was really bad was 200 dollars to get for one night and the hot tub in the room does not have enough hot water to use. We got this place for our wedding night and was a big waste of money we would of been better saving our money and just going home. We will never be back and if you are going to charge so much need to make sure things are working in the room.

Very clean, easy access. There was a Netflix account already configured. Beautiful view from the patio. Didn't like, I could hear the neighbors through the wall, which means they could hear us in bed. The toilet dispenser is broke.

DON’T DO IT!!!
The address has you pull up to a gravel road to an abandoned building with trash all around it… after we looped that building we went back to the road and traveled up a hill to a loop of 1/2 cabins. My husband was livid about the address to the empty building then up the hill to shabby looking cabins. There was no where to check in. Some random car pulled up to us to tell us how to check in and at that point there was no way in hell my husband was going to stay there. The pictures of the property looked as if they were taken when the cabins we built, not it’s current condition. I can’t speak to the condition of the cabins inside because we were not willing to cross the threshold. Very upset about the amount of money we spent to arrive to a dump like this

I called 30 minutes before check in to make sure everything was good for us to arrive at 3:00. They said yes and the key would be hanging on the hook behind the door. We arrived and a lady came running towards us and said can I help you. We are here to check in. We are not ready for you. The headboard to the bed needs to be put back together and we need to get you a wi-fi tower and antenna. It was not cleaned, refrigerator was rusted not updated at all. Even the toilet was not cleaned. Bugs in the bath tub We waited to be told we would have to be moved because of a water issue. Staff was very unprofessional. After driving for 10 hours no one wants to have to deal with a situation like this. The lady that checked us in and the maintenance guy were always fussing even while I was on the phone with her. The pictures on the website were very deceiving. The grass and weeds were so high could barely see our little dog. Would definitely not recommend this place.

The surrounding area was beautiful. The property itself was disgusting. From walking into the first “cabin” and immediately asking for a refund to being shown a second cabin and deciding to try it even though it was pretty disappointing and had multiple candles burning to cover up the smells. After the airing the place out for awhile from the headache inducing candle overkill, smelling body odor from previous guests on the bed and then when we turned the lights down at night being greeted by a host of cockroaches. They were closed for the night so when I went to check out the following morning and informed them that they had cockroaches, the individual on the phone said “thanks for letting us know again” when I had never told them in the first place so I’m assuming a previous guest also reported it. And then the audacity to not offer a refund or even just apologize. I’m flabbergasted by the low quality cabin there, the inflated cost, and the disgusting state of the whole experience. Cabin 122 should be avoided at all costs but from what I saw there, honestly every one of them should be. Travelocity as a site should no longer even advertise them because it legit showed me that they don’t even look into what they advertise.

Pictures are deceiving. Seems like this place hasn't been fully taken care of for years & almost looked abandoned - We booked last min. for my hubbys birthday. When we arrived we didn't know where to go, so we drove around. There were no signs. We went back down the drive to the house and 2 peolple were pulling out of the driveway looking at us like we didn't belong there. Hubs asked where we were supposed to check in & they said to follow them. So we followed them to our cottage & they gave me a number to call if we needed anything. We spent the majority of our night texting the number & trying to get a Wifi signal. It never worked which was tough with 2 kids. We had horrible cell service and had to put our phones in a certain spot to get a signal. The place looked nice at first but we soon realised it wasn't very clean. It smelled like cheap air freshener, even the beds. It was so strong. We wanted to air it out but multiple windows didn't have screens, which is so dangerous. Toilet hadn't been cleaned, tub jets were filthy , cobwebs & spiders, small TV, dirty coffee maker & only McDs mocha flavored coffee? It was so hot. The air was on full blast but it was LOUD & made weird sounds that woke us up throughout the night. Uncomfortable beds, thin pillows & only a sheet & thin quilt, freezer was dirty and had an opened coke & opened old bag of ice in it. Didn't have the time or patience to complain over the phone when we checked out so we just got the heck out of there.

Cozy little place near race track
I'm not sure what the proper way to check in is. The address takes you to an abandoned looking building. I didn't go up to it. I elected to call from the driveway after seeing no apparent signs or indicators of where to go. This was approximately 1830 (6:30 pm). When I called I eventually got the host. They seemed a bit flustered and confused. They told me a cabin number and said they would meet me there. It appeared as they were there and cleaning/installing some dangling lights but the bed and getting the room ready for us. Again this is very late in the evening compared to typical 3-4 check in. It's a very awkward meeting. We go in and realize we didn't have a key. I ask about it and am told they will bring one. I wait around for 30 min and then decide to just go about my agenda. The jacuzzi tub was great. Need was pretty good too. The reason I think they were just installing those hanging lights is one, when I went to put my hand under the pillow I stuck a twist tie and two the two beside lamps had no bulbs in them. there were various bulbs missing throughout the room. The TV controller also barely worked, maybe batteries? Eventually I got a message saying I could get my key on the way out in the morning. We ended up leaving the place unlocked as or departure was very early. Later that day I received a message saying the find the door unlocked and left a key when they attempted to deliver the key. We left the next morning.
