new normal..new style in online booking
Posted 18 Jul 2020 on HotelsVery inconvenient!!! kasi di dapat tatanggapin booking namin kasi daw fully booked na sila at ang place ay di na daw accredited ng RedDoorz oh diba ang saya.. until napakiusapan.. we stayed dahil convenient ang area para sa husband no need to travel na for him.. at sympre mkakabook ka ba agad agad sa panahon ngayon plus the transportation issue sa mmla...after our booking we rebook again and same scenario ayaw na ulit ihonor ang booking sa hotel.com sa booking.com at sa agoda... gusto kasi ng RedDoorz near robinson place manila eh direct booking pala para siguro mas higher price... Pero my question is “ bakit open pa rin kayo online sa mga hotels website kung di nyo naman pala iaaccept tapos sasabihin nyo direct booking na lang Pagdating dyan which is higher price”” yan na ba ang bagong style ng hotels ngayon?? At sa gitna pa ng pandemic?

We arrived at the hotel and found out that our bookings never showed in their system! And refused to accomodate us because they were full booked already.

Need to improve Customer Service
Posted 15 Nov 2019 on HotelsI book a lot with hotels.com and booked other places nearby by this one. Due to the place I wanted was sold out, I thought I would give it a try as this was for my family which I was paying the bill. I booked this 3 days before their arriving and when they came to check in, they were turned away. They were told they don’t have a reservation there. My mother is over 60 yrs of age and wanted to sit there until I can get this fixed as I was in another country and was not able to. They treated her as if she was a stranger off the street and never took the effort to call to confirm as they also showed them the reservation.
Hotels.com spoke to the front desk and they saw we did have a reservation for 2 rooms and never took the effort to apologize for this inconvenience or what they put my family through. I work for the hospitality industry myself (Disney) and would never do this to anyone.
