Pros: Quite comfortable
Cons: Provide complimentary drinking water and basic toiletries
Location: Short walk to Robinson Mall and good eateries, a few sleazy joints nearby,
Check-in was simple enough, room was a little disappointing for Junior Suite one would expect at least complimentary bottle of drinking water and basic toiletries such as a toothbrush and toothpaste. Hailing taxis were easy enough but most wanted to charge extra when told that destination was the Airport. And I felt that the taxi driver was taking the route with the mos traffic to 'bump up' the metered fee.

Posted 29 May 2016 on HotelsThe rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet.beds and pillows comfortable. Bathrooms are clean with hot and cold shower. A mall is just a block away, and there are bars , spas and restaurants nearby. It is also near the airport, train station and lots of taxis that passes by, so transportation is not a problem to anywhere within the metropolis.overall I will definitely stay there again.

Pros: The proximity to transport lines, and commercial establishments. Its a hostel yet it seem like a hotel. Staff is considered the jewel of Malvar.
Cons: Updates of newly accredited / tie ups booking company particularly via expedia - what are inclusive of the package (in our case a breakfast)
Location: Location is superb, with a big shopping center just around the corner..
All's well that ends well..That is the best thing that could describe our recent booking at Malvar Hostel, and a much appreciated hospitality by the Hostel staff Jerome, from booking inquiry up to the last minute he was very composed and been very keen to our needs despite a little confusion about inclusion package of our booking. In the end, it was refunded by expedia. I must say, if it wasn't for Jerome who just happen to be on the end of the line every time I need to make a phone call during wee hrs due to time difference, we woudn't consider the place, but he seems to know his company by heart thus we just trust his words about their " Hotel" as he always says.
