I had lost my debit card while traveling to this place and they failed to uphold my reservation. I still did have valid ID and the room was paid for. They did not offer any solution except to cancel my reservation. I was left in new york the entire night without accomodations or any way to return home until the next day. I am entirely disgusted at the way I was treated by the staff and management at this place, and entirely disappointed that the ownership lacks the decency to handle a simple situation as this one.

The property is lovely, but the experience suffered. I spent two nights in NYC. Here were the problems: (1) On the first night, a Bose radio went off prior to sunrise. I couldn't turn it off without moving furniture and unplugging it. And then trying to get back to sleep. (2) I was unable to control the thermostat so the room was much warmer than I wanted. I asked the staff to turn it down while I was out and they turned it down to 60 degrees. (3) Finally, when I left, I asked for my car to be pulled around. I gave them the requested 20 minutes notice, but waited 20 additional minutes for the car to come around due to an error at the desk. I know these are first world problems (believe me, I know), but you're paying the St. Regis to eliminate these errors, not to make them. I doubt I'll return.

Until the lobby/dining refurbishments are finished, the hotel has nothing to offer but a long walk through basement hallway. Seriously. The cost of this misery remained astonishingly high. My room, during a period when the hotel was not at full occupancy, was on the third floor facing an alleyway. You shouldn’t have to complain to receive a modicum of respect

Property was partially under renovation, which caused an issue with lifts. Lastly, I had requested requested the last day of statement which is yet to be received. Regards
