I stayed at the Jewel in late January 2025. It was a great little hotel in a good location. It was very clean and quiet. Staff was nice and helpful. I liked the free coffee/espresso machine. They also have free refillable chilled water on each floor right by the hotel rooms. I will for sure be staying here again!

The property was easy to get to from JFK, taking the subway. It's pretty much right across the street from Rockefeller. There aren't that many amenities other than the free water on each floor, but the staff was always extremely friendly and offering to go out of their way for different things. It seemed they stopped doing room service after 2:00 p.m., so if you want new towels you'll have to ask. I don't think I had room service the entire time I was there unless I asked for extra towels. It was pretty quiet for the location, and I got upgraded to a larger room I think, but the view was basically the wall of another building. I would stay again though because it felt pretty quiet and safe and the location was pretty exceptional. But otherwise it's nothing fancy. Although I will say there were tons of convenient things in the room like a fridge, the coffee maker.

This is our go to hotel! It’s so convenient to the subway or uber rides and you can walk to so many different areas in the city. The best thing is, the staff is incredible! They all truly care about the guests and are always there to answer questions!
