If you’re looking for an economical choice in the Bronx I would recommend Hotel Moca. The room itself was spacious and clean. But the property is kind of run down and it’s about 4 blocks from the subway. The staff was nice and vending machines were available. A great Mexican restaurant is 3 doors down. As well as 2 good bakeries for your morning coffee and treat. But it isn’t the cleanest or most well kept place and it is FAR from the city, about 45 minutes by Cab or Subway. I’d stay again.

This place should not be in your list. Shame on you! It is in bad area, the hotel and rooms have a strong pot smoke, no heat, noisy. This hotel rent hourly for sex The fitted sheet is not done. You could easily get a body lice infection at this hotel Terrible, terrible. I am a woman, visiting an intensive care patient and all I wanted was a safe and clean pla for the night. Staff here is amazing. Very friendly service, no issues there. The property is refurbished, so the amenities are new but the building is just in poor condition. Walls are paper thin. The room next door was super inconsiderate when talking on the phone and turning his tv on LOUD at 6 am. That’s not the property’s fault. The location is convenient to everything. Super close to the train station. I stayed here one night bcuz it was the only thing fairly cheap for Ny.

The worst Hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room we checked into was dirty and several features of the room were broken (deadbolt, toilet flush, toilet paper holder, etc). Walls were paper thin and you can hear your neighbours every sound. Staff were unaccommodating and unhelpful.

This place is the worse, did not feel safe at all, room entrance door looks like someone was trying to pry it open, old bed, old furniture wasn’t worth my money at all. I would never stay there ever again.
