Relaxing experience

All good, but probably a little over-rated
Posted 22 Jun 2023 on HotelsClean, relaxing stay at Alila Manggis. Different experience staying so close to the sea. At night, I could hear the strong waves crashing onto the breakwater fronting the resort. Service staff was impeccable - they tidied our room twice in a day! I think they also made it a point to know the names of guests and the room they stay.
The only little hiccup was that our booking came with breakfast included. However, upon check-in, and at both mornings that we went for breakfast, we were informed we didn't have breakfast included. After explaining that we had, they checked and promptly resumed their service without further probing. Some miscommunication there, perhaps, but it would have been good if this didn't happen.
Walk out to the warungs and spa just outside of the resort for more authentic local food and massage though (at a fraction of the price in the resort too).
