Pulled up to the pub, couldn’t find the hotel anywhere, asked the staff and they don’t tell they didn’t have a clue what I was even on about. Scam. Don’t ever book this place.

The pub is not associated with our hotel, so we are sorry to hear that the staff were very unhelpful. Lady on the reception was lovely and helped when we was told Expedia hadn't told them about our booking. But the people this hotel has staying there are the type that make you feel unsafe, drug users that are hanging around out the front, and the smell of stale smoke was so bad. The room smelt of smoke and The bathroom had been cleaned but not very well. For £39 you get what you pay for but I definitely wouldn't pay anything more for this hotel, it was more like a hostel

We arrived to be informed that we had no booking, problems with Expedia apparently, they receptionist was very helpful and we ended up with 2 rooms instead of 3 but at least we all had a bed for the night

Terrible - drug problem
Posted 22 Aug 2022 on HotelsTerrible smoking issue. Checked in and the room smelt of weed. When I returned in the evening and the smell had got worse! I had reported it to reception on both occasions and nothing was done. I then woke up to a strong smell of someone smoking again in a nearby room! Oh and the room didn’t even have any toilet roll in it.
Terrible night would never stay again
