Stayed at the hotel after a meal at Adam Reid's. Lovely hotel, meal fantastic. Staff in main bar and reception could have been more attentive for a hotel of this caliber but otherwise a lovely stay.

Manchester City center is a walkable city and the Midland makes it easy to cover the 4-mile radius. It is centrally located and easy to walk to everything. The property features the Edwardian Baroque style with red brick and intricate design on the outside but the age is evident on the inside in the bedroom. Perhaps The Midland prefers to retain the period, but the window frames and the bathroom seem outdated. Still, we thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay.
