Disappointing

Posted 26 Sep 2021 on Hotels
This has got to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. When we arrived we were directed to a screen outside the hotel to self check in - even though there were two staff on reception. When I complained I was checked in by a member of staff. We had our two dogs with us and access was not easy as there are a lot of dark corridors where the lights are on sensors but do not come on early enough. Because of this I tripped over my dogs lead on the stairs and cut my face

Next to a busy highway it’s a hotel for traveling workers more than holidays. There is a pool but close to a busy road. Interesting countryside nearby Staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel is dog friendly Room clean and adequate. Restaurant has unimaginative food. Breakfast is very poor. Better to go to a cafe nearby.

Good budget option for travelling through

Posted 20 Mar 2021 on Hotels
Very clean but obviously not very busy due to the pandemic. Tired decor but scrupulously clean large room with a balcony overlooking charming farmland with sheep who all had bells at their necks. Lullaby of bells to send me to sleep. Lovely large bed and clean sheets, shower gel. Convenient large Carrefour in the local town for collection of bedroom picnic but a restaurant at a larger posh hotel 3 mins away was an option. Reception staff very helpful and pointed out nice dogwalk next to a lake. Very good budget option for a stopover in the downseason. But could be good for access to the National Park in high season. Very helpful staff.

Overnight stop on way to Portugal

Hotel is good for an overnight stop. One member of staff spoke English and helped a lot. Staff were very friendly, had the menu of the day which was good. Hotel a little tired in the rooms but perfectly good for one night

xcellent stay. Modern room/strong showers/comfortable beds. English speaking receptionists who assisted us with our dinner orders. Free parking and good beakfast. Easy access to the highway on our way to Badajos. Highly recommended.

Nice Hotel - Easy access if driving

Posted 6 Dec 2017 on Hotels
Nice hotel with large and spacious rooms. Clean and quiet with friendly staff. Great accessibility if driving as the hotel is beside major highway and easy vehicle access with free parking. Wifi was very weak. I would stay there again.

Good Stop Over Hotel

Posted 11 Apr 2017 on Hotels
Lovely hotel not far from main Motorway. We stayed over to break a trip from Santander to Ayamonte. Postcode is misleading, but carry on past industrial area and hotel is a mile or so further on the left of the main road. Good authentic Spanish food, and comfortable rooms. Breakfast not brilliant, but adequate.
