The staff were nice. Location was good and within walking distance to the street market, restaraunts, beach and tour pickups. Lots of options for the in house buffets and we had some fun entertainment each night. Small issue with showers slow to drain. Bigger issue was the beds, like sleeping on a park bench and had to use the extra comforters to provide a bit of cushion. That said, my mom loved her bed.

The hotel was friendly and clean, the staff were helpful. The room was well aid out and spacious this particular room did not have a proper shower tray with a door or a towel rail which would have been better. The balcony view of this room was to the rear of the hotel no pleasant gardens or anything just views out over residential properties and the car park which can be a little noisy at times with cars and dogs barking etc.

Check in staff lovely and efficient. Good quality food. Excellent service always from lady with big dark glasses and red lipstick with always a big smile. Male waiting staff and servers of meat and fish always grumpy. Roof bar staff friendly and efficient. Our room cleaners were grumpy, but made beds and changed towels daily. If you were not up by 9.15 they hung the ‘no’ sign on your door. We did have a different lady on one occasion who did an amazing job. Did what the others do but swept and cleaned floors which the other cleaners didn’t do. She was very efficient and friendly. Lady in spa always friendly and efficient and speaks all languages very well. The snack bar by the pool run very well. Great food and great service always. Superb beach nearby with loads of restaurants and shops

Great breakfast. Rooms small but modern. Single beds only, not ideal, pillows were awful. Room floor was not very clean on arrival. Roof top bar is stunning, a must see! Good location, great transport links for much of the island. But for me the pool & sunbathing areas were a real let down, in urgent need to refurbishment, but based on what we paid we cant complain too much. Nice time was had, but all in all due to the run down pool areas we spent most of our days at the beach or another hotel pool.

Convenient location next to beach and food. multiple pools, the spa was great. Advertised as a spa, but seems like a hotel for people with kids, they have concert sing alongs every night, kids screaming everywhere, the spa was a side option not the main point of the hotel. Rooms not sound proof could hear everything in halls and above. The roof was leaking, I mentioned it to the front desk and they said "we'll fix it when you leave"..no room move offered no discount not even an apology. Also mentioned before we got there my husband and I are celebrating our honeymoon and requested an amenity, nothing was offered. Every other hotel we stayed at in spain set our room up with some sort of amenity except this one. All in all would probably go back for a spa day pass, but not return to the hotel.

Our establishment is advertised as a hotel with a complementary spa, not as a spa hotel per se. Additionally, we proudly present ourselves as a family-friendly hotel, welcoming both families and children alongside our spa facilities.Regarding the evening entertainment, we wish to inform you that our shows vary daily, and we do not offer karaoke or similar activities on any night of the week. Our entertainment includes acrobatic performances, an illusionist, a Disney show, tribute bands such as ABBA and Frank Sinatra, as well as 80s music. We do, however, have a mini disco for children that lasts 30-45 minutes and takes place earlier in the evening, allowing adults to enjoy the main shows afterward. It is important to note that the mini disco is held in our main bar lounge, while our rooftop bar remains free of children's programming, offering a tranquil space to enjoy a beautiful sunset.Regarding the roof leak you experienced, this was due to an unusually severe storm that affected the entire area and caused weather alerts for several days. The issue was explained to you at the time; we were fully booked, and due to the high occupancy in August, no alternative rooms were available. Furthermore, to properly repair such an issue, the affected area must first be completely dry, which regrettably takes time. The leak was minimal, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.Lastly, we are uncertain about the "amenity" you mentioned. If you are referring to special requests related to your honeymoon, we have no record of such a request. We do provide amenities upon request at the reception desk. If you typically mention a honeymoon at every hotel for complimentary amenities, we regret to inform you that we do not automatically provide these without a prior request.We sincerely appreciate your feedback and hope you might consider visiting us again for a spa day or perhaps a different experience in the future.Kind regards,the entire Grupotel Gran Vista & Spa

Wonderful stay

The hotel was amazing, everyone so friendly and helpful. Our only criticism was the lack of salmon at meal times and the uncomfortable bed head.
