Family accommodation close to beach
Posted 25 Aug 2018Lovely family accommodation close to the beach . Nicely furnished and easy to keep clean as basics such as washing up liquid , cloth, sponge , brush and mop provided . Towels changed every other day . Friendly staff , regularly on time . Had access to books , toys and other beach equipment left by previous holiday makers . Outdoor pool area , modest but adequate for number of users and also proximity of beach . Sufficient sun loungers and parasols. Area was clean and tidy at all times . Local beach is a few minutes walk and is family friendly.

Great location for family gateway! Beach was one of the best we visited. Check in was fast and easy, apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for the family of four. We had fun and relaxing time, would go back again!

Posted 6 Oct 2017 on HotelsGreat location in Canyamel and very close to a nice sandy beach. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and a nice outdoor jacuzzi. The rooms are basic but clean and perfectly functional, Juan was welcoming and friendly and was happy to help you during your stay. We decided to hire a car (after hearing that transfers took approx. 2.5 hours!) which took just under an hour from Palma airport and there is plenty of free parking on the street nearby. TIP: if you do have a car, I'd recommend driving to Capdepera (10mins) to the big supermarkets for food & drink supplies as Juan said the local supermarkets were expensive.

Excellent apartments in a great location

Pros: Ideal location for the beach. Very friendly owners and good size pool. Spotlessly clean
Cons: We stayed in an economy room as that was all that was available which unfortunately did not have air conditioning, just a stand alone fan.
Location: Canyamel is a busy small resort suited to couples and families. It is near to the pretty town of Arta and the Coves d'Arta are a short drive away.
We stayed at the apartment complex for 3 nights. It is in a perfect location being in close proximity to the beach and shops. The owners are friendly, very informative and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment and surroundings were spotlessly clean.
The only negative was that our room being an economy room did not have air conditioning, only a stand alone fan. However that was our choice to book it and we know that the owners are in the process of upgrading all the rooms. We were taken to one of the refurbished rooms which was lovely and of a very high standard and because of this we would highly recommend the complex.

Close to beach and markets
Posted 21 Jul 2016 on OrbitzThis was a small facility with about 8 apartments. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The beach was nearby, maybe 2 blocks away. Beach umbrellas, mats, even sunscreen was available for use free of charge. The rooms were great, air conditioning was efficient, the small kitchenette with full size refrigerator was perfect. Good restaurants were located nearby. Easy drive from the airport.

Feel like you are at home. Rooms comfortable.
Cons: Long mirrors in corridors or rooms
Hopefully meals and evening entertainment to be considered for future.
A tray and a sieve for kitchen
Location: Nature walks, beach, trails, golf, boating, bars n restaurants, bus stop near by to explore other towns.
We loved this place as it felt like home. Close to lovely beach, shops, restaurants n a tranquil river walk.
The owners have made this place very homely with personal touch to little things that matter and that's what we liked about this place. The flat have all the essentials required for self catering and comfortably laid out furniture and lovely wall pictures.
Any problems was quickly attended to without a fuss. Very thoughtful that they had a nice collection of books n also toiletries in case one forgot to bring any like tanning lotions.
The massage is something to try out perhaps just before the end as it was so very relaxing.
The couple are very helpful and work hard at keeping this place so lovely. I am sure in years to come there will be more to enjoy in this place.

Very near the beautiful, not crowded beach.
Canyamel is a lovely quiet resort. Hotel Manager is very helpful. Internet on 5th floor not the best, but very good at reception and pool area.

Posted 19 Jun 2016What a fantastic place a place like no other two weeks of total relaxation from the minute we arrived , the hosts Joan and his wife Kristina were a lovely couple who advised us on everything majorca , canyamel is a wonderful place with a wonderful beach and plenty of fine restaurants to eat in

Pros: It was close to the beach clean and comfortable
Cons: For what we pay it is fine
Location: The beach is close and so are the shops
This apartment is basic but has all we required for our holiday, it was clean and comfortable, lovely pool area and the owners are continually improving it, we will definitely stay there again. The beach is minutes walk from the apartments as are the shops so ideal all in all.
