Very quiet and rustic.
Posted 21 Sep 2017
Pros: The staff, the breakfast, the peace.
Cons: Some gardening needed. Some pretty crumbling looking walls.
Location: Train station in Benissalem can take you to Palma.
Walk from Benissalem to Alaro castle pleasant uphill walk to El Verger restaurant open every day.
Well we enjoyed the peace and quiet and the excellent breakfasts. The staff were lovely.
The whole place did feel a bit tired and the grounds were scruffy.
The roads to the finca were very twisty and narrow...almost impossible for two cars to pass.
The pool,is small,but never busy.
We were in one of the cottages not in the main building. Good shower, and toilet. Not a very spacious bedroom. Door at back opened on to small terrace which again was a bit scruffy..brambles growing out of the walls.
Benissalem is in walking distance and has a fab Italian restaurant called terra de vino...but not much else to see.

Quiet, Simple, pleasant

Pros: Spacious high ceilings - immaculately clean
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable and had a plastic sheet on it which seemed old fashioned
Location: Lovely lovely village with lots of dancing on Friday night and local restaurants
This agrotourismo is very clean and relaxing, however it is not luxurious!
The price is very reasonable.
The pool was cool and usually empty!

A jewel in the Mallorcan crown
Posted 23 Jul 2017 on HotelsThis is a rural retreat where you can step away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Delightfully remote. The owner was most caring & friendly. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Breakfast included and self-serve. Restraunts for evening meals in Compell & Santa Maria nearby. Car is ESSENTIAL. From Palma take MA-13 and turn off at Junction 17 (Alaro).
Quiet & peaceful. We stayed 3 nights but could have stayed 3 months! Pool area is clean and central courtyard (for breakfast) full of rustic charm. Wifi was excellent in the main 'hotel' building. You will not regret staying here. Furnishings and furniture in the bedroom was combined rustic and modern. A real joy!

Disappointing stopover
Posted 7 Aug 2016The main gripe about this property is the misleading photos on Expedia which failed to show the room we had apparently chosen! Our room was off a courtyard with several others - no privacy with people eating breakfast outside our window. Room was stuffy and very dark but clean and spacious. Pool was murky, beer cans were lurking in the bushes behind my sun lounger. Pool was also across a quiet lane from main building!

Beautiful, peaceful place to stay.
Posted 5 Jul 2016Just got back from a few days here. Beautiful old stone finca. The rooms were spotless and the staff very friendly. Loved the pool and there was hardly anyone using it. Loved opening the window in the morning to the courtyard and hearing the birds singing. We had a car so we able to get about as this really is in the middle of nowhere but is in a good spot on the island to get to places- 30 mins to Alcúdia or pollenca, 30 mins to Palma, close to the mountains so you can zoom over to soller and some of the hidden beaches over that side. We didn't get round to walking to binissalem as some people have. Bed was ok but not amazing comfort wise and the room was a bit hot a night with no air con. Breakfast was ok, the usual holiday hotel breakfast of fruit, cheese, breads, croissants, ham/salami, juice and coffee. fridge with cold beers and drinks you can buy. All in all a lovely place- would defo stay here again.

Lovely peaceful holiday
Posted 30 May 2016 on HotelsThis is a simple, peaceful location with a small town about 30 minute's walk away.
Very pleasantly different from the busy places in the resorts and yet with easy access from the airport and to all of the attractions of Mallorca.

Relaxing, peaceful, friendly staff, good value
Posted 7 Oct 2015Perfect if you want a no-fuss relaxing stay, with helpful staff (father and son) who are very obliging. V good value hence the 5 stars, but don't expect the Ritz. Typical agroturismo feel. Breakfast in the courtyard very good for an extra 7€ a day. Drinks available with an honesty box policy. Nice pool area. Own car recommended. I stayed with my mum and boyfriend. My mum was in one of the outbuildings which was clean and had a good bathtub which she had requested. We stayed in the main building in a converted stable room which we liked. Quirky....and even had a manger in the ensuite. A couple mosquitos in the room had a good feast on our ankles even in October so I would bring repellent next time!
