Nice room and beautiful beach area. Great staff with delicious food at both the evening and morning buffet! Unfortunately due to the time of our visit (4days before closing for the season) a lot of the bar/dining options were closed and the outdoor pool/hot tub was cold/out of service.

Elevator did not work.
A lot of steep stares to navigate , specially for my 72 year old mother.Lay out of resort is very confusing, a lot of dead ends , amenities are not easy accessible.Restaurant open for breakfast and diner only and closes early , 9pm.

Bad pool area
Posted 15 Jul 2021 on HotelsVery nice hotel. Great rooms. Only disappointment was the pool. No pool staff so all other guests left towels at the pool beds at 8 in the morning and did not use the bed before in the afternoon. This was against hotel rules but no staff did anything. Because of that we could not get any pool beds - one day there were only 3 people at the pool and no space for us…

An Average Place
Posted 21 Sep 2018 on HotelsWe had booked an ocean view family suite and while yes, it is a view of the ocean, you look out over a cluttered view of their restaurant roof-top. A family suite is essentially 2 separate hotel rooms with two doors and locks but with a single door beyond those two. A buffet breakfast is included in the stay but when we went down for breakfast, almost all tables in the restaurant were reserved for people on bus tours. Even though those tables were empty, we had to wait a long time for one of the few tables that wasn't reserved to free up. The beach is rocky so take beach shoes if you go. There is a walkway to other beaches that aren't so rocky so that is an option. The outdoor pool area is nice. For the indoor pool, you must make a reservation in advance in order to use it. Overall, the resort is average. There is nothing particularly outstanding, nor awful. It's just an okay place to stay.

Top resort in Malinska
Posted 8 Jul 2017We had a great experience in Blue waves resort. Its not a huge and crowded one, but just right to relax either by the pool or on the beach. Everyone is really friendly, rooms are clean and spacious, food is great. First couple of days the lunch food selection was a bit limited, but after we pointed it out, there was a brand new menu printed already the next day. Great work. We really loved it and we will be back. I can recomend it to everyone.

Family Trip
Posted 19 Jun 2017 on HotelsThe food was subpar and a few of the servers were very unsure of their role/job. But overall clean and good location.

Nice hotel

Pros: Location, beach, best breakfasts we had on our 10 day trip.
Cons: An explanation of how to ensure there's sufficient hot water; a working safe.
Location: Beach, downtown Malinska and its clubs and restaurants.
Perfect location and nice rooms with a great view of the Adriatic.
