Relaxing stay at a comfortable hotel
The staff were so friendly and courteous. Tremendously welcoming from the moment we arrived. The hotel room was well appointed - a sauna in the room! The gym had everything it needed. The spa was very relaxing and clean. The breakfast was excellent and had plant-based alternatives. Only a short walk into Malcesine. Would highly recommend.

The room was huge and very comfortable. The view to the lake would’ve been great if it weren’t for the giant crane and crazy shrubbery in the way. Doesn’t matter because we never used our patio/balcony. You have to be naked to use their sauna and as a solo female, I was not comfortable going into it with the large group of men that seemed to occupy it the entire time I was there. They have a hot tub but it’s filled with Luke warm (at best) and the jets did not work. The pizza was delicious and the staff were wonderful. I got a massage (can’t remember the girls name) that was very good and the room it is done is was relaxing and comfortable. I probably won’t stay there again but, I do recommend it to others to at least try.

This is a very clean hotel just a short walk from Malcesine. The service is friendly and no request we had was not catered for. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

An oasis is a great location
Hotel casa bsrcz is situated on the panoramic road / meaning it has fabulous views of lake Garda but is also quiet and tranquil. However it is only an easy 5 min walk to Malcesine. 2 pools - give you a choice of where to relax. The hotel provides a bar fridge do you can stock up from the local supermarket and sit in the evening on the balcony looking over lake Garda. The hotel smells beautiful - of oranges - and on check out they have us a gift of a diffuser with the scent I - do now I’ll have a little bit of lake Garda to bring home with me

Outstanding hotel in every way
We came over to Malcesine to film and photograph a wedding, and decided that we'd make a mini break out of it and stay somewhere nice. We chose the Casa Barca based on its excellent reviews, and thank goodness we did! We've been traveling for years and have stayed in so many hotels, but this one tops the lot. Hospitality - what an amazing welcome! From the moment we checked in we knew we'd chosen the right place. The lovely lady on reception took us to our upgraded room, and showed us where all the facilities were. We felt so welcome and instantly comfortable. Room - we had an 'exclusive' room with its own little garden complete with sun loungers and a table and chairs. Absolutely stunning view over the lake. Beautifully furnished, and immaculate. Large bathroom. Just couldn't fault it. Can't even start to explain how comfortable it was. Facilities - we did a few little day trips so didn't get to use the pool or spa facilities but we did see them. The pool (although the weather too cold to use at this time of year) was incredibly clean and inviting. The spa facilities look fantastic, and when we return for a longer break we shall take advantage of these. Lovely little bar area with a great selection of hot and cold drinks. Breakfast just out of this world, with everything you could possibly want, and beautifully presented. Can't recommend this family run hotel highly enough. Purpose built, ultra modern design to a very high standard. The staff are welcoming, helpful and professional, yet the whole tone is relaxed and informal. All 26 rooms have balconies, but it's definitely worth paying that little bit extra for a room at the front of the hotel which offer stunning views of the lake. Breakfast is good, the dining room is at the front of the hotel so you can enjoy breakfast whilst enjoying a view of Lake Garda. Ideally situated just a couple of minutes walk into Malcesine. If you are arriving by bus, then that drops you off outside the Tourist Information Office in Malcesine. Walk back a little way down the road you just arrived on, pass the large Spa Supermarket on your left and about thirty metres further on you come to Hotel Ideal. Immediately after Hotel Ideal, turn left up the hill and walk about another 120 metres. Hotel Casa Barca is on your left (there's a fountain by the side of the driveway). If you are arriving via Verona Villafranca Airport and don't want to pay for a taxi (costs over 200 Euros), then you could travel by bus but it's a long way and involves changing buses. The Aerobus from the airport(six Euros)drops you at Verona Railway/Bus station from where you take the 162,163,164.165 or X05 (run every hour,four Euros one way) to Garda (takes just less than an hour). From Garda take the bus to Malcesine (Runs every hour,Euro 3.40 one-way) which takes 50 mins.

Cool and contemporary - excellent hotel.
We went to a wedding and it was great to be up the hill away from the centre. The hotel was comfortable and pretty cool. I wold definitely return to Casa Barca if I go back to Lake Garda. We are contemplating a trip with our adult kids in the future. It would be good if there was a bar on the roof terrace!

Lovely 4* hotel in Malcesine
The hotel is in a great location about a 5 minute walk from the centre of Malcesine. The check in was very quick and efficient and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in a junior suite which was bright, clean and very spacious with a lovely balcony area with views of the lake. The breakfast is great - lovely selection of fruit, pastries, cold meats and cheeses as well as some hot items. We didn't use the pool but it was a nice area and very clean - the roof terrace on the 3rd floor is a great sun trap with amazing views of the lake. The bar is great - the prices are really reasonable so we were able to indulge in several aperol spritz before heading out to dinner. Overall this is a great hotel and I would happily stay there again.

Really nice hotel in good location. Breakfast was really good - self service with choices of meat, fruit, pastries, bread, sausage, eggs and bacon. Air conditioning in room was very poor. It was noisy and did not make the room very cool. Not much difference between the outside or room temperature. Very good satellite tv service. Fridge supplied in room for your use. We had a lovely balcony that had great views of the lake. The only downside was both me and my partner didn't sleep well for the 3 night stay. Not sure if this is down to the poor air conditioning or the bed. Didn't have any issues in Venice or Florence which we also visited as part of this trip.
