Great Location for cycling up Ventoux

Posted 26 Jul 2017
Pros: perfectly situated and nice size.
Cons: air condition units or more Fans for each room
Location: nice location , perfect for cycling, lots of bike hire shops, eateries all with in 100 metres of apartments.
Nice sized apartment, perfectly situated to ride up Mont Ventoux, great bike hire shop dead opposite. very clean. only 2 issues, during our visit it was very hot and only 1 fan for 2 rooms so very uncomfortable at night. also don,t bother with breakfast as it is not in the hotel you have to go to cafe down the road and all you get is 1 croissant and a piece of french stick. lots of patisseries that open very early nearer.

Perfect For Cycling

Posted 13 Sep 2016 on Hotels
Hotel is basic but that's exactly what we were looking for. Went to cycle Mont Ventoux and just needed somewhere convenient where we could cook some pasta, sleep and store bikes. Worked perfectly plus I could park right outside and bars and restaurants were right there. Perhaps a bit noisy outside but not a big issue.

Disappointed - poor service

Posted 6 May 2015 on Hotels
My partner and I stayed at this hotel last year and were looking forward to another nice stay. I booked it on Hotels.com.uk - it said free internet and listed wifi under the room description. We need internet for business reasons in the evenings and based our reservation on whether there is wifi or not in the room. When we checked in our room didn't have wifi reception and said it was only temporary. We requested to change rooms and they refused our request to change to one of the rooms that gets the wifi. We were the only guests in the hotel for our 4 day stay. At one point they said they would change us but it never happened. Once we checked in they were never at the hotel again - we had to call them constantly but it was obvious they were giving us lip service. So Hotels.com.uk please change your room description and know that I am very disappointed with the poor service we received from the owners of this hotel.

All OK will stay again

The receptionist is lovelly and helpfull and fun (English limited). Its called an apart hotel which is a little confusing when booking. The rooms are apartments with a good kitchen area but they also seem to book it out as if its a hotel. Breakfast is available and the lovelly receptionist brings it to your room at a time of your choosing, beware surcharge for pre 8.00am. On street parking only, possible to park in front of hotel if lucky. plenty of eateries on same street, 2-3 mins walk. Expect to make your own bed. I liked it

Basic but clean and comfortable

Posted 10 Jul 2013 on Hotels
Our room was basic but functional and clean. The location is in the middle of the main street through town so very close to a number of restaurants but potentially a bit noisy with traffic and people outside. BEWARE if parking outside the front of the property - on the Wednesday morning we awoke to find a market set up in front of the car. The street was closed and we couldn' t have moved the car - fortunately we didn't want to as were cycling - the location is ideal for Mont Ventoux but note that the 'proper' route is from nearby Bedoin. The Residence Maloc is highly recommended for cyclists as they have dedicated secure indoor storage for bikes and equipment.
