"Hotel lacked room amenities like a variety of beverages. For example there were only 2 packets of coffee and tea bags provided. Bottled water in the room appears to be old with condensation inside the bottle. Toilet paper holder was wobbly. The wood and paint at the toilet door jam was peeling. However, room was clean and staff were very friendly. "

"I recently stayed at The Pines Melaka for 4 days and 3 nights. The hotel is conveniently located just a short drive to and from Jonker Street, making it easy to explore the area. We stayed on the 27th floor, and our room offered a beautiful view. However, we were woken up at 5/6 am each morning by the loud chanting from the nearby mosque, which was quite disruptive. "Rooms and decor bit dated and worn. Lots tourists from China. Breakfast buffet gets chaotic. Small beds. Good location to Jonker St. Value for money if you get at the right price"
