"This historic home was a pleasure to stay in. It was like stepping back in time. We shared the bathroom with one other couple, whom we never saw. We had the music room, which was at the front of the property. There is a railway not far away and we were a little concerned about the noise however once evening came the train noise was greatly reduced and we didn't hear them again until morning. "I stayed here just as a stopover on the way down to Sydney. It’s a bit tired. I assume they’re going to either fix it up after the bypass or do something with it. It was a bit uncomfortable being in the toilet and kind of being exposed, the actual place was alright, but again everything looks like it could do with a bit of a clean and TLC. I will say it was definitely quiet and you couldn’t hear any of the traffic from the road."
