Room was lovely, clean and spacious. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and a good location, close to town.
Breakfast was really good, with good choices.
Didn’t use spa facilities.
To improve, some TLC in the room. There were a few lightbulbs that were out, and the shower head could do with replacing. The heating was via a single electric radiator by the front door which meant the bathroom was very cold in the morning. I could also only reduce the temperature for up to 2 hours before it would automatically go back to 24 degrees, which was too hot overnight.
WiFi also poor, ended up using my 4G.
Overall, would return as positives out-way negatives.

I slipped whilst taking shower in the bath. There was no mat provided.
On checking with the front reservations, I was informed that there was a shower mat in the cupboard in the bathroom. On checking I did not find a mat and informed the front Staff member. I did not receive a reply. As a result of my fall, I later found extensive bruising on my right upper thigh. I had left the Hotel by this time. The heating system was not working in the room. Informed staff who stated that it would be fixed. It was not fixed upon leaving.

Friendly and helpful staff, decor a little tired but very comfortable. Food was very nice, overall a good stay.

On arrival the room the room looked lovely, clean , spacious and the king size bed made nicely, but sadly the bed was broken , chambermaid must have known this as the bed was partially collapsed one side . Shame the hotel hadn’t bothered to replace it.

We arrived at the hotel At 11.40 pm was given a room, we had just unpacked and they came and knocked on our door and moved us to another room as the water apparantly didn’t work in this room?
We went up to room 8 our new room showered which was terrible and got straight into bed. When we woke up and got out of bed we found that the sheet and inside duvet cover was stained with old blood.
We complained when we left and they refunded our money .
I would like the rest of my money refunded by you please
