Selected this room with on-site restaurant & bar, wi-fi, laundry facility, and free breakfast. Restaurant was closed. Bar was closed. They do not have wi-fi. They have hotspot with unsecured network so we could not use our computer. They do NOT have a laundry facility. They had no breakfast. The shower leaks all over the floor and the toilet lid keeps falling as you are using it. As we were trying to leave they told us we owed more money despite us paying through hotels.com. All we got was an overpriced room. Very disappointed.

That’s just not true because it would be better to read the hotel description. We wrote somewhere that we have a laundry. Everywhere is written that the restaurant is closed at Monday and Tuesday(day off) And a breakfast we have every day. Our Wi-Fi network is a voucher based system and it’s secure.

Very close to Europa Park, only a 15-min drive. Easy check-in and very friendly staff.

such a beautiful small German town
Posted 18 Aug 2018 on HotelsThis was our first day in Germany, we had a long drive from the airport and arrived tired, sweaty and hungry, the hotel wasn't open yet, but we were sitting on the bench across the way and I saw a young man who worked there going up with some groceries, I asked him when we could check in and he said 5, then he noticed us sitting on the bench looking very tired and came out with a room key and invited us in, we went up I took a nice shower, got on some clean clothes, we went downstairs into the restaurant area set up out laptops on the wifi with the help of the waitress, set up shop down there while we were served great food and drink, I caught up on work while my daughter played roblox. The schnitzel was amazing. They have free breakfast too with nice European coffee. Nice clean rooms and was a great place to stay, the next morning we went to Europa park which was about 10 minutes away.

A good base for Europapark

Pros: Typical, staff is nice
Cons: Wifi, speed of service when big parties
This hotel is nice, typical German house, with a nice staff. Food was nice (although service was slow due to a big party...) and wifi too patchy & slow (for my kids at least). Yet it’s a 15 min ride to europapark and a good place to rest or recover...
