The staff were lovely and gave us an early checkin when we arrived. The hotel is very centrally located near Sol station and despite being on a square was very quiet as the windows were double glazed. When we came back there was a lovely card and bottle of wine welcoming us back!

They allowed us to check in early as the room was ready. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is just opposite Santa Ana square where there are lots of restaurants but the windows are double glazed and it was very quiet in the room. We have booked to stay there again as it is close to Sol station.

Very nice hotel, with great rooms and loby. Everything was very clean and the breakfast buffet was very good. Staff was always very friendly. Only down side: it took at least 10 minutes (not kidding) for the water in the shower to turn hot, really not a green feature for 2024.

Wonderful hotel in a perfect location. The room was very comfortable and the shower was great. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and they had cute personalized notes for me on arrival and departure. Lots of places to get food nearby and a couple of mini supermarkets nearby too. Yes, the room was modest, i.e., small, but it was perfectly clean and comfortable. More importantly, the hotel location is excellent--right next to a square with cafes, and close to major attractions. Best of all: the staff could not have been more professional, courteous, friendly, and helpful, whether with directions or a restaurant suggestion. Just what I was looking for.

Great location right where you want to be
We were staying in Madrid just the day we arrived in Spain and were really happy the room was ready early and we were able to check in early. Room Mate hotels usually let you check in early if the room is ready and it is so helpful especially after a long flight. The hotel is in a great spot, close to everything you want to see and do. Short walk everywhere. So many restaurants and bars close by. The room was really clean and comfortable, we have stayed here before and love the location. When we left it was only a 10 minute walk to the train station. Would stay here again when we return to Madrid.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great for dining and walking around Madrid, It's also a quick cab ride to the rail station and airport (really dependent on traffic). I stayed in early May, the weather was good and the hotel rate for the two story unit with the small pool was a steal.

Fantastic location easy walking to all Barcelona highlights, yet on a relatively quiet street. Room had decent storage and was very spacious and quiet. Staff is kind and welcoming and lovely. Quirky design was appreciated. Only qualms were with doors. Contained sink area doors were hard to control and toilet stall privacy was only visual. All noise escaped.
