Our room was not ready when we checked in and we had to wait about an hour. Staff was brusque but efficient. In the morning, I went to the front desk and asked to have my name on the breakfast list. They did so. I got 1 cup Of coffee. But shortly after, I was harassed and accused of sneaking in. I explained that my name had been added but I was basically called a liar. I was upset and left and had breakfast elsewhere. At checkout, I got an apology but still had to pay for a breakfast I never had. 17€.

The hotel was in a fantastic location to be able to walk everywhere, we didn't use the Metro once in four days. Some great eating places nearby, once you are off of the main areas. Would definitely use the hotel again if in Madrid.

Great place for a stay
Location is amazing, just in the heart of the old city and very close to the metro. The stuff was very helpful and friendly. The room was simple and clean. The water pressure in the shower was pretty low though. Very good breakfast buffet.

Can't beat this property's location and value for your money. It's right there in the middle of Gran Via and yet it's perfectly quiet for a good night's sleep. Can get anywhere in Madrid on foot, metro or bus. The room is modern and spacious to Spanish standards.
