I dont recomend this hostal. Staff is rude and they charge for everything. They charge for your bags if you need extra hours $2 for each bag.The check out is at 11 instead of 12 like all other hostals. If you stay little more than 11 they charge $25. If you arrive after midnight they charge you $20. They dont respect online reservations thru agencies. They charge you at your arrival.

Clean and convenient price
It is a nice nice place to stay, clean and close to everything the lady in the reception super kind and welcoming. The only thing that you have to carry your suitcase up and down, the reception is pn tjw swcond floor and some rooms on the third. There's an elevator but does not reach you to tje reception.

There's no common space/place to meet others staying there! This was the biggest downer for me. Otherwise, small rooms with only the essentials. Cheapest private room I've ever found. Very friendly staff actively wants to make your stay pleasant and convenient. Bathrooms are pretty tight but it's fine. Location is killer - close to plaza mayor, sol, so many bars/restaurants, 15 min walk to prado

I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
I feel like I've reviewed this hotel before, so apologies if I'm repeating myself, but this is the perfect cheap place to stay in the heart of Madrid. You're ten minutes' walk from the opera; twenty from the Prado; twenty-five from Vicente Calderon Stadium -- and the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff incredibly friendly. A great place. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Cool place
This place is a really nice place. The lady in charge is really nice. You have free WiFi, though mine was on and off and not fast enough. I did not hace A/C. There is a tiny porch I guess for smoking too (in the room I stayed in) . The motel is in close vicinity to many attractions and amenities. The metro and train is right near by, so it's like 40 mins away from the airport.

Run Down but Very Charming and Pleasant stay
We had a good stay here. It was unexpected as some of the pictures are very misleading, in a bad way. The place is very small and is essentially an apartment in a building. The rooms themselves are nice. We were very surprised that our room was cleaned, we were given fresh towels the next day and the bed was made, which was a nice surprise so thank you for that. The manager is very professional and very friendly, In total we had a good stay. If you are looking to socialize or have a nice luxurious stay I would suggest finding another place. This is similar to a motel, but in the end you pay what you get for and we were happy with what we got as we don't mind roughing it out that much. However we were looking to socialize more so we moved to a hostel.

I just needed one night in Madrid for myself before my flight the next day. While this hotel isn't by the airport, it is in a great location next to a lot of great public places to eat and hang out. The staff was very nice and the room was great. Would definitely recommend to everybody.

Cheap and well located, not calm at all
Friendly staff and hotel relatively conveniently located. However, the room was right outside the main entrance, and the door and walls are so poorly isolated that I could hear absolutely everything around me, and being near the main entrance did not really help me to have a calm stay. The walls of the surrounding rooms are also so thin that I heard everything of what my neighbors said or did, and I had the impression that the walls would fall apart every time one of my neighbors closed the door. In other words, the hotel was relatively cheap and well located, so I didn't mind to stay there for one night, in between two planes, but I would certainly not recommend this hotel for a longer stay.

Overall the hotel lived up to its billing. Clean room. Clean bathroom. It's very basic and the room did not have any windows. Service was great. No complaints other than the lack of window in the room.

Worse than horrendous.
This hotel was advertised as a three-star hotel with amazing photos. In reality it could not have been more different from the one advertised; it is a HOSTEL with SHARED BATHROOM. This is NOT what I paid for. There were building works going on in the hostel; constant hammering, noise, rubble and dust. An awful experience. Never again, hotels.com, you have lost a customer. Absolutely disgraceful.

awful. Just awful.
this place was falsely advertised as a three-hotel with lovely photos. I booked four nights, paying almost €500, after hotels.com utterly screwed up my existing booking by emailing me just before my flight to tell me that my reservation was now unavailable (oh, and the alternative that they offered was miles away and turned out to be unavailable too). This place is a HoSTEL. Shared bathroom, pokey little room with a charming view of a wall. It was NoTHInG like the photos. Do not be fooled. This place is worth about 40 a night, not 120 !!! Disgusted. Shall not be back, either to hotels.com or to this hovel. You ruined my holiday.
