Great place, extremely safe and with a reasonable price in addition to clean rooms. I definitely recommend staying at that hostal, it's worth it

Might be better choices for before a flight

This is a fine, inexpensive hotel about 7 miles from the Madrid Airport. The room was spacious and good for the night before my early morning flight. There is a cafe on the first floor, and several restaurants and grocery stores nearby. And they arranged a taxi to the airport for me, which worked out great. The person who checked me in was friendly. But I learned later there are other hotels nearby with free shuttles to the airport - which would have saved me $50.
