Cockroaches in the bathroom, and bathroom door does not slide properly. Lovely staff and complimentary chocolates and cookies was lovely.

Thank you for your review Amanda. Unfortunately in the sub-tropics it's difficult to deter insects even when we have professional pest controllers spray twice a year and the room is cleaned daily. However, I do apologise that there was a cockroach in your bathroom on arrival. No one wants to see them... So glad you enjoyed the goodies in the room & the relief managers & I will get that sliding door fixed!

Booked for 2 Adults and 3 kids and only got a room with a queen bed and 2 singles

Hi Kassandra, This was a hotel.com's room description error & one I can't fix as we don't partner with them. We have given you an extra room for the 2 nights at no extra cost though. That was the only solution I could find for the problem, but I will be letting Expedia know so it doesn't happen again. Thank you for your understanding.

In a great location, great hosts, fantastic Sunday Session, great free BBQ, reasonable drink prices. They are very nice people and work damn hard to keep all the guests happy.

Hi Renate, We're sorry you weren't happy with your triple room. It was cleaned just that morning so it shouldn't have been dirty. Our motel is located on Nebo Road and your room was located 12 rooms down from the entrance to the motel. Unfortunately there's not much we can do about our location or the traffic noise..

Hi Barry, Thank you for your feedback. This is the first time ever that a guest has ever found not enough room for their car in the carparking provided... and it's not something we can actually do anything about. However cars are becoming bigger and bigger and the motel was built in the 60's. We've had Dodge RAMs fit into the carspots so they're not that small. However we do have truck/trailer parking available for larger than normal vehicles.

Rooms quite dated. When the hot water tap in shower was turned on, the pipes began to hammer badly in the wall.

Met the requirments of the travel. Bed not made up. Chipped mug rim. Soap dispensers not user fiendly.

Hi Paul, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Firstly when you say the bed wasn't made up, do you mean it had no sheets on it? If so, then you should have immediately come to the office to report that. However, if the sheets were on the bed, then the bed was definitely made up because the bed was stripped yesterday morning & the linen changed for clean linen & newly remade. Thank you for letting us know there is a chip in one of the mugs in the room. We will have that replaced today. The soap dispensers say clearly on the front, push to dispense so not sure why you had issues with them sorry? As always, any problems can always be discussed with us in the office at the time of discovery or on check out which you did without mentioning these issues. We always endeavour to ensure any issues are dealt with & processes updated to make sure they don't happen again—within reasonable bounds.
