Alright, but you can do better

I got lucky that someone canceled their reservation and I was able to get a room.
The room was questionable (broken window, cold shower) but I was just there to sleep, so I just put a chair in front of the door that wouldn’t lock and went to bed. (See picture)
The hotel did not provide breakfast as stated on hotels.com, but the front desk clerk…after my pestering….hooked me up with some coffee and buttered rolls.
My 2nd night, I was asked to move to a much nicer room upstairs (the room I was in was needed for someone else).
***The front desk clerk was very helpful with insight on local happenings.***

The place was very basic. They were not aware of the Orbitz reservation. Fortunately they had rooms open.
Traveled at the end of the pandemic. Unlike all of my other hotels, there was no breakfast and no warning that they wouldn’t honor that.
Location is fine. Price is fair for the quality, which is clean, but very simple. Beds were reasonably comfortable.
