"Excellent property and owner. Communication to get in to property etc clear and in good time. Apartment super clean, modern, excellent decor and well stocked. We cooked all our one week stay and had all we needed. The dishwasher and washing machine added luxuries. Ate most days on the balcony in December. "The house was new and very clean. Garden around the house was lovely. Sunset views were amazing. Jorge was nice and very responsive. We had issue with unpleasant smell in bathrooms on rainy and windy days ( due to air pressure). Parking was not next to the house and sometimes unavailable so we had to park on a street below. "

"Great communication from the owner. Missing a few conveniences that would have been a nice touch (coffee pods, extra toilet paper, soap etc). Other than that the location was perfect. Right above a cool bar that wasn’t noisy at all. Slept with an open window and the sounds of the ocean waves. "

"The property is a 15 minute bus ride from the centre of Funchal, in the Santo Antonio area. We really liked this as it felt like being in a very normal suburban area, even if this area did bring the world Ronaldo! If you are looking to incorporate a visit to his childhood club or the small pitch where his house once stood, then you could barely be better situated. "We would stay again.Good points: staff helpful and professional, breakfast was fab, within 10 mins drive from the airport, a great location to plan our itinerary, lots happening in the town within easy walking distance, beach 1 minute walk away. Negative points: insufficient parking - we were lucky,insufficient power points in rooms, no complimentary Tea & coffee, no irons to be hired , we hired pool towels but were not given refund when we returned them."

"Clean, friendly staff, nice pools. Great sevice at Cocoa, Voce and Desire bars. Dissapointing main buffet, main bar and Japonese restaurant - disorganized staff, drinks service fails etc. We made reservation for 3 adults, but, except of sofa bed done and towels, room was set for 2 persons - 2 bathrobes, 2 cups, 2 glases, drinks for 2 in minibar. Ask for 3rd bathrobe, but never receive it. App is great for restaurant resevation but useless to order housekeeping or maintaince."

Amazing time! Would stay here again

"Our time at this resort was absolutely amazing! We were a little worried because of the mixed reviews but we had a great time. Some reviews said that the food was horrible, but keep in mind you are booking a fairly cheap all inclusive resort so you can't expect Michelin star dining. As not food critiques, we thought the food was great! We were worried because we saw in reviews that the all inclusive package doesn't actually include ALL food and drinks, however, everything is very well labelled on menus so you know what is included. The staff also always mentioned what was included in the all inclusive. The buffet is completely included, and the other two restaurants that you have to reserve state on their menus what you can order. Reviews said that only pre-mixed cocktails were included, but the list of drinks available was very extensive. I have put a photo of the all inclusive drink list on this review. The staff was super nice, the room was clean and we had booked a double bed, but it was huge, more like the size of a California king. There was entertainment every night and daily activities that were free to participate in. The saunas in the spa are also free to use, but booking a massage is extra. We took a Bolt to and from the airport and it was only 40 euros each way. All the beach chairs on the resort are free to use, but the ones on the beach cost 2 euros for a whole day to book (we didn't feel a need to do this). "

Amazing stay at Dreams Madeira

"Me and my partner had an amazing stay here! The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The hotel room was beautiful, as was the rest of the hotel. The food was delicious and we were spoilt for choice with the buffet breakfast. I also went to a yoga class one morning and really enjoyed it. Couldn't recommend staying here enough!"
