"Wadi Rum is just beautiful. The staff was very helpful and helped us with the tour arrangements. The whole site is starting to show some signs of wear and tear, but still is great for being in the middle of the desert. Would recommend the hotel to anyone. "

"We arrived from Petra… very courteous reception… unfortunately I wa s very sick on my stomach… likely from my breakfast in Petra. Mohammed and the team were VERY helpful. My wife enjoyed the camel ride and the supper… but she fell ill during the night. Otherwise, we loved every thing about the place… the location, the “bubble tent” to gaze at the stars from bed… just couldn’t do the things we had planned due to the sickness. Highly recommend this camp to others!"

"What a spectacular place and people. Omar has been a great host treating us like family. The rooms had clean sheets and spotless bathrooms. The food (zarrab: meat and rice buried under ground) was so good. Omar took us on a four hour tour to different landmarks and famous movie filming sites. "I'm not sure Miracle Camp exists. I used Google Maps for navigation and was directed off the highway onto a desert path at a sign that said Base Came 11 KM. The path deteriorated and came to a large 20 foot high sand dune across the road which was impassable in a car. I then went to the Park headquarters and asked several rangers and no one had heard of Mirage Camp. I tried to call several times and the phone number on my reservation had a recording that said it was disconnected. I called...

"The whole experience was terrible. First the camp location is 25km away from where it said. Their location says its in the Wadi Rum Protected zone, once you pay the camp fees thinking you are going to be staying in the protected zone, they ask you to drive 25km back where you were coming from, then ask you to park your car in their private residence and use their 4X4 to get to the location a further 10km away. "Very friendly and helpful receptionists. I didn’t get the name of the day guy but night was Rami. Both were super helpful. It looks further on the map but it is literally 5 mins slow walk from the visitor’s center and entrance to petra and 1-2 minutes further from Jett bus. But the hotel and shopping street is small n right across the center."

"I received an outstanding service from all staff prior to my arrival to the hotel. I can't thank Firas enough for the assistance and tips provided. Wonderful hotel 3mins walk to the main entrance of the archeological site close to everything you need. I was given a packed lunch for my whole day tour of Petra :) Truly recommended "

Great personalized experince

"We loved our time in Wadi Rum at the Wild Oryx Camp! We wish we had stayed longer than one night. Eid treats his guests like family and our experience was personalized and tailored to our preferences. Our daughter had a blast riding around in the truck on the tour and also getting to ride a camel for the first time. As a vegetarian, I was so pleased with the food available and everything was delicious. The bubble tents were spacious and tucked away, so it felt like you were literally the only ones in the desert. We look forward to going back and staying again one day!"
