This a great place to stay if you want access to transport, good shopping and a nice walk to the centre of Lyon. The staff were friendly and the facilities very good.

Allways a pleasure to stay here when i visit lyon. It has everything you need ,compelte kitchen and a pool and gym . Nice prices and a few minutes from the train station.

Clean, spacious and well equipped.

We were really impressed with our room at Aparthotel, much more space than expected and we didn't realise that there would also be a mini-kitchen complete with fridge, hob and dishwasher. We would happily return there and stay for longer. Also very convenient for Gare Lyon Part Dieu

The hotel and the room were clean and nice nothing to complain about cleanliness! But the room was very noisy, felt like we were inside a dishwasher as you could here loud water noises from the pipes 24/7, that made it difficult to sleep.

Lots of space, handy microwave and fridge, comfortable beds, lovely to be able to step onto balcony for fresh air. Excellent price for two night stopover travelling through France into Spain by train. Only downside was being asked to take rubbish to garbage area but maybe that was our translation?

There are good things and not-so-good things in our stay. The area is very good and being renovated, and it's close to metro stations and the train station as well, transportation was a breeze. The rooms don't have working AC, and we had to sleep with the windows open and the fan on for a couple of days. We stayed for six nights. We didn't get housekeeping service and needed to request toilet paper from the front desk every other day. Our access cards failed twice during our stay, and they had to be reissued. Staff was super kind and helpful any time we needed something.

Good apartment if you need a 5+ day visit.

This is an apartment hotel, not a traditional hotel. No service of room until checkout. Staff is friendly. Rooms are big with a kitchenette. Two small towels. No shampoo, only soap in bathroom. Pillows are very old. Room has been recently remodeled. Very cheap TV only works with chromecast and hard to hear. Internet less than 1mbps, so you need a hotspot. Safe does not work. Tea kettle does not work. They do have a washer and dryer, only of each, but very difficult to figure out if you don’t speak French. No help from customer service number. Location is a business district and apartments. Near the Lyon Part Dieu station, 12 min walk. That was why we chose it. Also near a very large mall with shopping and a great food choices. Downstairs Japanese restaurant is excellent.

Mediocre experience

Most members of staff were pleasant. The kitchenette was locked on arrival, the safe was locked and could not be used. Also, the room telephone did not work and there was no air conditioning. We raised this an issue with reception however this wasn’t resolved.

The hotel is dirty and run down. I was very surprised, as the reviews were pretty positive. When I checked in I had to have my room changed because the bed was broken. There were two huge metal bars sticking out from under the headboard. There were supposed to be table tops to make end tables on either side, but the tops were missing. There was also a hole in the wall. The headboard for the bed was covered with some sort of hardened crusty fluid that the manager brushed off as “product” the new room was “better” but all of the dishes and silverware were covered with hard food stuck to it from some previous guest. The glasses were stuck to the shelf by something very sticky. Not once in my 4 day stay was my room cleaned, garbage removed, or fresh towels provided. Oh and the room overlooked a homeless tent camp which had once been a park (although I can’t really fault the hotel for that) It was technically an inexpensive stay, but I can’t help feeling like I over paid. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.
